I really like what Jesus said, like in Mark 2:27 when

"He said to them, The Sabbath day was made for man and not man for the Sabbath day."

Jesus is so wise.

Here He shows us that the Sabbath commandment was not given to make life hard. Man was not made for the Sabbath.

But God knows that working 12-14 hours a day - 7 days a week is not good for the body.
So the Sabbath day was made for man.
As a help - not as a prison.

We see that for example Paul often worked on the Sabbath by preaching the Gospel. Maybe he instead rested a little every day, maybe another day.

And the Pharisees were so unhappy with Jesus for doing things on the Sabbath, that they didn't think were allowed - not understanding the point with the Sabbath and that "the Sabbath day was made for man and not man for the Sabbath day."

God is so wise and so loving.

Everything He has told us is for our benefit and there is always a loving logic behind it!

Jesus loves us so much more than we understand or even can understand.

How many times He has protected us.

Probably all of us have been in a situation where something bad should have happened but by a miracle it didn't as Jesus protected us!

Being so very much loved - loving Him back and to Give All the Heart back to Him - the One that gave us all that we have - it is the least that we can do and nothing else will do.

Sunflowers as far as the eyes can see. Maybe my favorite flower! Do you know it turns towards the sun? This reminds me about our need to look towards Him that gives us all we need for life.

Looking up at the stars has always fascinated me since childhood.

Sometimes I have tried to count them. I'm sure we all have, just to find out that it is impossible.

When I look at the stars I think about how big God must be that created them.

What do you think about when you look at the stars?

God Himself revealed the plan around 800 years in advance when He told us that;

•He Himself will come and die on a cross for our sins.

•He will bear our iniquities.

•He is going to take our penalty.

Words comes to an end when seeing such a love.

No wonder that the apostle John almost 900 years later exclaims;

“Behold what love the Father has shown on us, that we should be called the children of God.” (1 John 3:1)
