If the National Stock Exchange (NSE) tweaks its computation methodology, 11 non-F&O stocks may be removed from the Nifty Next 50 index. These stocks include LIC, Avenue Supermarts, Bajaj Holdings, Varun Beverages, Zomato, Adani Green Energy, Adani Total Gas, Adani Transmission, P&G Hygiene, Adani Wilmar and FSN E-Commerce Ventures. These stocks currently make up 9.05% of the index weightage. However, the exchange is keen on having only F&O stocks in this index.
