This particular maqam made me realise how important it is to have firm knowledge on the subject before you even consider going forth in finding places related to that subject. But you can't blame me entirely. I mean the burial place of another saint named Sheikh Jami in Torbat e Jam, Iran was also a mystic, poet, and a maulana. Even their graves are almost entirely similar for Allah's sake. So it's not all my fault that i got maqams mixed.
Nevertheless this is the burial place of the great poet Jami in herat who penned down the famous poet 'Naseema janib e batha guzar kun' in love of Rasool Allah s.a.w

Next quest : It always fascinates me finding the sacred relics related to our prophet s.a.w. And in Afghanistan there are three, one in kabul, and two in kandhar.
But thanks to an old man i met recently, he told me many ziaratgahs around herat and apparently there is another khirqa sharif in herat as well.(shrine of the sacred cloak).
