In fact this is because for most of my life I “identified as” a progressive leftie voter, and the left, while I was still fully indoctrinated, had effectively “pre bunked” Rush as some type of right wing extremist white supremacist. And of course he was none of those things, he was simply a conservative who spoke out and was subjected to cancel culture early on.
