We've disbursed the fourth tranche of our exceptional Macro-Financial Assistance loan to Ukraine, worth €1 billion.

These loans will support military expenditure needed in the coming weeks and month.

Our total lending to Ukraine under this initiative has reached €6 billion since the start of 2025.

The loans will be repaid with proceeds from immobilised Russian state assets in the EU.

The EU is reaffirming its role as Ukraine’s largest donor since the full-scale invasion.
