Here’s what I know so far: yesterday Daniel got on the 10:45 PM train from New York to Chicago. He was in car 7. I looked through his things and found a pen, a cloth, a car key, a mobile phone with a cracked screen, and a lot of different documents. For now, I have no idea what happened to Daniel Foster but I’ll find out.

👵🏻 Свидетель 1 (another passenger): I swear, he was there when I fell asleep. I remember because he was reading a book… something about finance, I think. But when I woke up, his seat was empty. His bag was still there, his coat was still draped over the seat… but he was just gone. And the weirdest thing? I don’t remember hearing the door open or close.

I’ve just talked to 2 witnesses: one of the passengers and the train conductor. The passenger is an elderly woman. She says that Daniel was there when she fell asleep, he was reading a book, but when she woke up, he was gone. She didn’t hear anything but his belongings were still there. The train conductor says he didn’t see Foster leave either. He heard some strange sound around 2 AM but doesn’t know what it was. He also noticed that the bathroom window was open around 2:30 AM.

🎙️ Detective, we have new evidence. The train staff checked the area near the tracks where the bathroom window could have been opened. Guess what? We found a torn piece of fabric caught on a metal edge. Dark blue. Could be from a jacket or pants. We also found faint footprints in the gravel, but it’s hard to tell if they belong to our missing passenger or someone else. And here’s something interesting… We found Mr. Foster’s suitcase hidden in car 8. It was unzipped so we think someone had gone through his stuff. But nothing seems to be missing. Strange, right?
