We celebrate along with our brothers and sisters of GEMS (Gospel Echoing Missionary Society) on the opening of the Garhani Church and Mission Field Station. GEMS is primarily a church planting and evangelism organisation working in Northern India.⠀

This is the result of GEMS pioneering to Garhani in the year 2000 by starting to preach the gospel through literature ministry, film teams and small gospel programs. The aim was trying to reach the 16 villages nearby. After much effort one family accepted Christ and slowly the relatives started showing interest in Christ. By God’s grace they have seen 55 people baptised there. ⠀

‘I am a mix of cultures, coming from an Irish-English family, our family moved to the US and then later to Hungary, so I grew up with my siblings as a Missionary Kid. This global upbringing ignited a heart for missions and eventually led me to apply for an internship with Elim. I am currently based in Denmark as I am married to a Dane and working towards getting my Master's degree in Development and International Relations.⠀

My work with Elim Missions is focused on research and supporting development within our missions’ programmes. So far, I have been focused on researching and analysing short-term missions and creating a resource hub for Missionary Kids and their support systems. The latter...
