Long story short: The Pit was a massive disappointment, and you are not going to be particularly impressed with the story Gregg told you was so important for the last several months.
It's an actual story, but it's definitely not 10X worse or more interesting than 2000 mules, and it's not going to have anywhere the same impact either.
All in all this was kind of a big waste of everybody's time.
Gregg LARPing with his gun in the parking lot while I was trying to eat at a slider at the after party was also super gay and it made me lose a massive amount of respect for him.

Here's the actual story of why the after party was shutdown.
Someone noticed Gregg and his team had firearms.
The Hotel respectfully asked Gregg and his crew to disarm while on the premises.
Now, here's the important part: Gregg refused.
Not only did Gregg refuse, he demanded the Hotel call the police to the scene, even when the Hotel was clearly in the right.
All that nonsense about the after party getting shut down: It was a publicity stunt, and Gregg is directly 100% responsible for that publicity stunt.
He promised people a party, got them all there, and then Gregg DELIBERATLY got the party shut down to try to look like a victim.
That's what actually happened. All Gregg had to do was take his guns and leave the party and everyone else would have been able to enjoy the night.
All those people were left stranded and looking for rides on short notice because of Gregg and his obvious desire for attention.
I'm done with this idiot.

The ENTIRE EVENT could have been handled so much better and gotten 10x the results.
