Singapore based hedge fund, Three Arrows Capital, bought $1.3 billion worth of stock traded bitcoin (GBTC) issued by Grayscale Bitcoin Trust in what seems to be the beginning of a bull run. With bitcoin’s price rising to $34,000 while Eth surpassed $1,000, each GBTC share currently goes for $34.10 and can be redeemed for actual bitcoin at the rate of 0.001 BTC. GBTC avenue is preferred by institutional investors because it’s regulated.

Analytical data from Glassnode shows that the number of wallets holding at least 10,000 BTC (about $345 M) or more has surpassed 100 Bitcoin wallets. Also, the number of new Bitcoin wallets also hit a new two-year high with a total of 26,261,542. Block stream CEO admitted that owning 100 BTC is enough to make one a whale.

A programmer named Stefan Thomas was given 7,002 Bitcoins more than 10 years ago for making a video how cryptocurrency works. At the time, his collection of Bitcoin were worth only a few dollars each, and he decided to store them in an IronKey digital wallet on a hard drive. He wrote the password to that drive on a piece of paper that he ended up losing, and now his Bitcoin are worth $240 million and he can't remember what password he wrote down all those years ago. Thomas has already tried eight possible passwords, and he only has two left before the password will "encrypt itself, making the wallet impossible to access."
