Yea, you heard it right!

Those were the exact declarations of the white guy in the YouTube video I stumbled on earlier this year when I was looking out for predictions for 2024.

He said they had their time and he is so ready to call them dead in 2024.

But what’s most interesting to me was the argument that followed.

He argued that the traditional sales funnel model where customers jump through multiple pages before hitting the “Buy Now” button is no longer cutting it.

Instead, he said that customers prefer simplicity in the sense that they find a product on social media, click a link and get to the check-out page.

Now I couldn’t help but wonder if there was any truth to this just as you’re wondering.

Are sales funnels really on their way out?

This is my take:

While it is true that customers crave simplicity and quick gratification, there are still plenty of scenarios where a guided journey is essential.

Maybe impulse buys might take a very simple process

But a high priced product might require a well crafted sales funnel to provide the support customers need to make the right choice.

And it is unfortunate that many business owners are losing a lot of sales on a daily basis because they don’t understand what kind of funnel to use for what product.

But that is why you have me.

My goal is to raise sales giants who can look at any product and immediately know what sales process will work for the product.

But it doesn’t just stop at knowing what sales process will work perfectly for any product, they will also be able to map and build out any sales process.

What has changed?



If you’ve been keeping up with the chat on sales funnels in the last two days, you’ll notice that I made mention of how things have changed in the industry.



Let’s really dive into it and have a candid chat about how sales funnels have changed over the years.


Back in 2020 when I launched my first sales funnel training, it used to be very straight forward.


Run ads and send traffic to a landing page, people get on the landing page where they have the option to buy your product and if they’re not impressed, they can click off.


And so trainings mostly focused on running ads and designing beautiful landing pages.


Not just that, we used to think of funnels as a one-size-fits all solution.



We would use the same funnel for for every product or service without taking its unique properties or target audience into consideration.


And did it work then? Yes! the results were fair enough.


But times have changed.


And what used to work before won’t cut it today and here’s what I mean.


Your customers are more discerning and demanding than ever before.


They expect personalized experiences, tailored recommendations and smooth interactions at every stage of the buying process.


Generic one-size-fits-all approach won’t cut it anymore.

So what works now? you might be wondering, and I’ll tell you.


Smart business owners have moved away from the “hope and pray” method of driving traffic to funnels and are now focusing on nurturing relationships.


It is now quality over quantity, engagement over clicks.



And the most important one, smart business owners are broadening their knowledge of sales funnels so they can be able to not only identify the kind of funnel that will work for different products but also build it out easily.


Now, as a smart person you know that if you don’t change with the times, you will be kicked out of the game.


That is why in the coming weeks, I will be taking the time to show you how you can build any funnel for any product and stand out in the market place.
