Hyaku is the 100th Vinyl release on the Samurai Music label. Through the many twists and turns of the industry in our almost 17 years of existence, the Samurai Music vinyl releases have maintained their aspiration for quality, unique design that stands the test of time. Praise and thanks always to our long time designer Ryan Quinlivan and the many pressing plants we have worked with over the course of our labels lifespan.

This album invites listeners to open the black cube and step beyond the confines of the 3D world

This project was recorded, mixed, and edited in the playroom at the SMEM. Nothing was programmed—it was all played live. There’s a certain roughness to these songs. The music always fell apart when I tried adding new layers or tweaking the mixes. Only when I left it alone did it retain something of the original photographic quality of that experience.

Iridescent offers listeners a truly immersive experience that will blissfully wash over them in the safety of their own homes or take them in a transcendent grasp and guide them on a new journey through the club.
