RECORDING A NEW ALBUM: RHYTHM GUITARS

“I've finally recorded 7-string rhythm guitars for the new BLACKTHORN album and now the tracks are completed with a wall of guitar sound!
The process was a little delayed due to the fact this time we took a different tack; after recording bass guitar, it was decided that first we need to work out the orchestrations and record a string quartet and a solo violin, cause the symphonic component is the core of our music. Plus, due to the expansion of the "combat" guitar arsenal, it did take some time to test the instruments in the mix. As a composer and part-time sound producer of BLACKTHORN, I am periodically in search of new “magic recipes” to create music and I am not looking for easy ways 😈
Let's hope that the final result will delight our listeners with its power!”
