Decapitated and dismembered by their ancient Overlord, these warriors occasionally regenerate and awaken, following the commandments of their Master.
Their rebirth is a tight knot of various mystical forces. However, its essence may be brought to light through the recently discovered Dogma of Anakritis.
"Death and decay are the key to the Higher Life. The foundation, the source of Creation.
When all the moisture has been extracted from the dead, it demands the Fire to transform the Spirit for as long as it takes for the deceased to have his body turned to ashes.
Once that happens, the Almighty will bestow him with a rebirth, so that he may become stronger and younger than he was."
The common citizens of the Empire fear the armies of Anakritis as they fear the destructive forces of nature.
However, the Tonarchs who rule over desert planets can try to harness this power and use it to their advantage.
