We need your attention and energy for the next five days:
Chris Whitty and team are due to make an announcement about the nationwide child vaccination programme roll out in schools for 12-15 year olds.
We sent a letter to the heads of OFSTED & HSE (copying many others) here: https://bit.ly/hse-ofsted, to explain:
1. This announcement is in direct opposition to the guidance from the Joint Committee on Vaccinations and Immunisations on 12-15 year olds issued on 3 Sept 2021.
2. JCVI guidance makes it clear that some children will be harmed and that “the margin of benefit... is considered too small to support universal vaccination [of this age group]”
3. It puts teachers and staff into the firing line with potential legal, health & safety and safeguarding issues.
4. This is a political decision, not made in the best interests of children.
We need your help to notify the schools, local authorities and governors of this update, please:
A. Follow this post - we will post new action steps for the next 5 days
B. Share and copy this message with/ to 10 other parents by phone, email etc.
C. Ask those 10 parents to:
a. Follow A & B
b. Go here: https://bit.ly/schooljabs to let your school, local authority, governors or trustees know about the safeguarding and safety issues*
