Π‘an't believe I'm even writing this but this is the last rendered commission of 2023! Woo!
Working on poster-like pieces has taught me quite a lot but the time I spent on rendering is ... oh you don't wanna know. Turns out having a similar pipeline to my bigger commissions, minus the work on the environment, is not something that I would have expected when I first offered these.
So I'm taking a break from rendered stuff until I figure out what I want from myself and, hopefully, come up w something else to get things done. Mainly because I wanna keep it affordable as the prices for my rendered stuff are skyrocketing. And also because I would like to create more instead of spending a few weeks or months just to finish a piece (polishing takes forever!). Honestly, I miss being able to work without needing a brain break. Really just wanna get back to what a normal working day was like before everything went downhill for a year. I'm used to being able to sit down, binge and be off to another piece, but not this crawl
Right now it's not exactly a break as there are still a few illustrations left and I'll prioritize working on those following the old pipeline, but I'm not taking any new ones so that's a start haha

Okay, i had a whole new post scheduled but scrapped it as i didn't feel like posting another long read after the last post, so i'm writing a new, shorter one. In case you aren't on my discord server, here's a shameless plug: www.discord.gg/rVjyzwtbas
It's been completely overhauled and i'm running it not only as a place to post finished commissions and personal art, but also as a place to grab a commission whenever i'm available. I'm also planning to add more channels as we go (queue, stream ads and casual chat are already there) but i'm not sure which ones styo and i will be able to maintain yet haha

I'd like to believe that if you've joined this channel, you're somewhat interested in me as a person w silly little characters who has little to no time to make more art of them, not just uh well, a commission printer. Otherwise you'd be following me on FA or something haha So I'm taking a big step (for me, that is) and asking you to brace yourself because from now on you'll be seeing more humans here and there as I kinda never said that I'm exclusively a furry artist. I like creating art in general, skill is the only limit I have π

Been conflicted about posting anything w these two since March I think?? Imagine the backlog I have and I'm still counting. But these dorks carried me through this year's hate my art phase so I owe them that much haha
The funny thing is, if someone had told me that a vault dweller would join my current bunch of Fallout characters, I would've laughed. But here I am π₯΄ Beating myself at my own game, fair and square
I'm not sure how I'm gonna fit in more deets without writing long ass texts as telegram doesn't seem like the best place for that (what IS the right place for long reads, anyways??), so I think I might use comments instead
