Future Watch Face Format versions (2) will most likely include RANGED_VALUE_TYPE. This is something complication provider can implemented to better visually describe RANGED_VALUE Progress. Some of you may have noticed something similar on the Pixel watch faces. To prepare for this, we added the ability to change the RANGED_VALUE type via the editor in the upcoming project.

Where the types are used:

TYPE_PERCENTAGE = 2
The ranged value represents a percentage in the range 0..100.

TYPE_RATING = 1
The ranged value represents a rating or score for something unrelated to the user, e.g. the air quality index or the UV index.
