In 2015, the United Nations adopted 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) which are connected to many aspects of sustainable development such as fighting climate change and strengthening education. Following the work of CEWG 2018-2019, we updated their SDG Challenge Booklet of last year.
This booklet contains all 17 SDGs with challenges for yourself as well as for your local – however, if you do challenges with your local please act according to Covid-19 Guidelines in your country and stay safe. Additionally, questions regarding our society and development are raised. Furthermore, you can find sources for additional information as well as videos and quizzes to help you dive deeper into the topics.

Did you know that your daily actions have an impact on the environment which can be measured? During this workshop, you will learn what the ecological footprint is, how to measure your own and, what's more important, how to reduce it.
Next Monday, 16th of November we will give a workshop about Footprint, at 20:00 CET
This workshop is in collaboration with AEGEE-Nijmegen for this Thematic Month on Climate and Sustainability, but it will be a workshop open for everyone!

Are you interested in sustainability? We are currently looking for motivated team members that can help in the following projects:
➖ Event Support: Collaborating with organisers of events such as Agorae, EPMs, Summer Universities and NWMs to implement sustainable practices
➖ Locals Support: Collaborating with locals to improve the sustainability of local activities, developing Green Guidelines and other manuals
➖ Measurement: Measuring AEGEE’s contributions towards the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the sustainability of the network
➖ CD Support: Helping CD to implement sustainable measures such as travel reimbursement guidelines, (dissemination of) tools & knowledge, changing banks etc.
In addition, all of our members can help with giving workshops.

But that does not always happen on purpose. Urban legends and half-knowledge often contribute to the spread of untruths about such crucial issues.
We would like to invite you to our WS on which we will guide you on how to deal with myths and recognised the reality regarding Climate Change news.

In this Europe Cafe organised by the Climate Emergency of AEGEE-Europe and AEGEE-Praha, we will take a look at some numbers describing the status of the environment during this period and have a discussion about if it's really a benefit or not for our Planet and which measures we can continue using to give a break to our lovely Mother Earth.
