It’s our pleasure to inform you that the applications for the first SMASH training for trainers are open! 😄
SMASH stands for Structural Measures Against Sexual Harassment, and it’s a project dedicated to train young people on how to be Safe Persons and tackle sexual harassment in youth contexts.
During this training, you’ll learn how to implement the gender perspective in your trainings, making them more equal and gender-friendly. You’ll learn what sexual harassment is and how to prevent, detect and react to it, and most importantly how to train others in doing so. 💪
Besides, you will get real experience in delivery as the practice delivery will happen in a real Safe Person training. During this training, we will explore a new concept, in which we will include a Safe Person training for youth workers within part of the Training for Trainers. This will be supported by the trainers of the T4T and the experience of the two previous SMASH trainings in Tbilisi and Helsinki.

​It is about time to make another brick in these walls, it is about time for Autumn Agora Salerno 2019!

After 30 years AEGEE-Salerno, in cooperation with AEGEE-Europe, After 30 years AEGEE-Salerno has decided to organize another Agora, don't take it so long to apply for it!

In Autumn 2019, around 800 young people will arrive in Salerno in order to discuss key questions, elect new teams for administrative bodies of the Association! Don't miss it!

​During the SPM Köln there was a group of people initiating something unprecedented. Given the state of the environment, society and economy in Europe, we would like to see sustainability with it’s three pillars (environmental, social, economic) mainstream in AEGEE. We want to do that by creating a Sustainability Manifesto in the Strategic Plan. ✊

💡This can also be an opportunity to link the Sustainable Development Goals to what we do, so we can measure our contributions towards the SDGs.

But who is this “we”? All of us. 🙋
We have created an initial timeline in order to be ready for Agora Salerno, but we NEED YOU to make it happen! We are looking for enthusiastic AEGEEans that want to be part of the Task Force.

✍️ The task force will be drafting and writing the first text and modifying it based on the feedback from the network. The task force’s first meeting will take place on 21st of July at 21h CEST. 📅 If you want to be a part of it, write the date in your agenda, as we won’t make a selection - anyone interested can join by filling out this form.

⭐ We leave you with what could be the beginning of such manifesto:
“We, the people of AEGEE, meeting at the Autumn Agora Salerno 2019, acknowledge that we have the moral responsibility to make Europe and the world a better place for the current and future generations.”
