A series of open events with Dr. Khaled Azzam - architect, artist and Director of the School of Traditional Arts - King's Foundation - kicked off in Tashkent. The first day opened with an inspiring master class on traditional Islamic geometry.

Participants not only learned about the philosophy and principles behind geometric ornamentation, but also had the opportunity to put the knowledge into practice - creating their own patterns under the guidance of a master.
