On 12 May, as part of the International Jazz Festival in Tashkent, two spectacular concerts were performed.
At 19:30 the audience had an opportunity to enjoy the performance of the Polish Jah Trio, presented with the support of the Embassy of Poland. Their combination of modern sound and respect for jazz tradition created an atmosphere of sincere drive and musical magic.
Then the Swiss quartet alpha-ray, invited by the Embassy of Switzerland, performed. The group has two studio albums and many festival performances under their belt, which was felt in every chord - the audience could not remain unaffected.
The festival runs from 29 April to 13 May, and admission to all events remains free.

В панельной дискуссии приняли участие куратор биеннале Диана Кэмпбелл и скульптор Энтони Гормли. Обсуждались кураторальная концепция, роль Бухары как исторического и архитектурного контекста, а также уникальный подход - все произведения создаются в Узбекистане в сотрудничестве с местными мастерами.
Биеннале пройдёт с 5 сентября по 20 ноября 2025 года и будет открыта для широкой публики. Это начало долгосрочной культурной программы, в рамках которой в Бухаре формируется новый Культурный район с образовательной и выставочной инфраструктурой.

During the Art for Tomorrow international forum in Milan, Gayane Umerova, Chairperson of Uzbekistan Art and Culture Development Foundation, presented the Bukhara Biennale 2025, the first international art event of this scale in Central Asia.
Biennale curator Diana Campbell and sculptor Antony Gormley took part in the panel discussion. They discussed the curatorial concept, the role of Bukhara as a historical and architectural context, as well as the unique approach - all works are created in Uzbekistan in co-operation with local masters.
The Biennale will take place from 5 September to 20 November 2025 and will be open to the general public. This is the beginning of a long-term cultural programme, within the framework of which a new Cultural District with educational and exhibition infrastructure is being formed in Bukhara.
