This is the fascinating story of Adal Abu Gazer, a 36-year-old, from Rafiah that was an international leading terror activist that moved from Gaza to Turkey through Lybia and from there to Syria where he joined ISIS and eventually was captured by the Kurdish rebels in the north of Syria (where he is now). Adal's story shows details of the ISIS immigrant path movement between the different terror centers and details of the central role of Turkey in the success of ISIS in its heyday. We will start our story in the event of the massacre in the Iben Taymiyyah mosque in Rafiah in 2009 (link in Hebrew https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1984711024884618&id=1024181447604252). Adal also known as Abu Karem, was beside the Salafi's leader Sheik Abu Nur El Makdasi that wanted to establish a Salafi Emirate in the Gaza strip when Hamas forces broke into the mosque and massacred the attendees. Adal Abu Gazer and his cousin Rasem Abu Gazer survived the massacre and were imprisoned in a Hamas jail. I wrote previously about Rasem Abu Gazer that became a leading ISIS activist. After being in the Hamas prison for few years he was released and left the Gaza strip through Egypt to Ben Gazy in Lybia where he was in charge of intelligence for Al-Qaeda (a Salafi organization). In Lybia, after he gained his reputation, he was called to arms in Syria by his friends that sent him pictures and videos of the atrocities that are being made against the Muslims and the death of children. Adal was convinced that his place is by his brothers in Syria and took a plane from Lybia to Turkey using a fake Lybian passport. From the Turkish airport in Istanbul, he took a plane to Anatakia, and then he passed into Syria through Bab al-Hawa Border Crossing. To the Kurdish media, he tells (as he is in the Kurd's custody), that he was very surprised by the simplicity of the passage from Turkey to Syria. Adal also said that with him passed another 25 more activists into Syria with no significant checks and his friends were waiting for him just on the other side of the door on the Syrian side with no fear. In this matter, Adal says that Turkey served knowingly and acted as an driving force to strengthen the hold of ISIS in the north of Syria by letting jihadist activists into Syria in order to create chaos in Syria (it should be mentioned that Adal has to show an anti-Turkish stance as he is in Kurdish custody but there are a lot of reports about ties between Turkish officials and ISIS. I also want to add that under the excuse of fighting ISIS Turkey got hold of wide areas in Syria next to the Turkish border). The arrival of Adal to Syria was celebrated by his friends in Haleb and Idlib were he was still in the Al-Qaeda ranks. There he was convinced by his friends that he should move to ISIS. Adal mentions that Palestinians and especially Gazan Palestinians are sought after in ISIS because of their acquired skills that they got from Fighting the IDF, this is shown by the fact that a lot of ISIS people in Gaza manage to get into high ranks in ISIS branches especially in Sinai due to the geographical proximity but also in Syria). Adal joined ISIS and was sent to El Bab in Syria that was ruled by ISIS at the time as a paid local intelligence official. From El Bab, he was sent to ISIS capitol-city in Syria El Raka there, the "Gish El Zadic" security branch used his skills in building fortifications and tunnels. According to Kurdish reports Adal was a part of the "Abu NUr El Mekdasi" unit in ISIS which is a Gazan branch in ISIS that was formed after the massacre in Gaza (that I talked about earlier) and most of their members were killed in Dir A Zur in 2017 and he was one of few (or even the only one) who survived from this unit. In Al Raka, he organized intelligence units under the "El Acrema" battalion in ISIS. In Al Raka, he stayed for 18 months and a month before the operation for conquering the city from ISIS began he escaped to El Midan in the Dir Azur Distric
