Christmas🎄 ≠ New Year💡

I often hear people say that their favorite holiday is Christmas or that they are decorating their homes for Christmas. However, it’s important to note that many confuse two entirely different holidays: Christmas and New Year.

Christmas: This is a religious holiday celebrated by Christians on December 25. It commemorates the birth of Jesus Christ, who is considered a prophet in Christianity.

New Year: This is a globally recognized holiday that takes place on December 31, marking the end of one year and the beginning of the next. It is secular and celebrated by people of various cultures and religions worldwide.

They are NOT connected to each other. They just happen to be close on the calendar and are sometimes celebrated together in certain parts of the world.
————————-
so, let's recap:
Christmas🎄 - a religious holiday for Christians (25 dec)
New Year🎁 - just a fancy date on the Calendar, celebrated worldwide (31 dec)
————————
We decorated our office and house, for New Year, not Christmas.

happy New Year and happy holidays, everyone!

6.5 at 10th grade is quite impressive

Well done !
