Here's one great story from DevCon 2024 last week that I've promised to share with you.

First, a little bit of background.

Our star researcher and VP of Engineering Dr. Weijia Zhang works with EEA. What is EEA you're asking? It's a place where blockchain meets with Fortune 500 companies. These companies are interested in finding out more about blockchain and how to use decentralized ledger to make their companies more innovative and profitable.

Dr. Weijia is a Co-chair of EEA’s Crosschain Interoperability Working Group. That handles all the cross-chain related research and topics to support institutional adoption.

Thus, as a in-house member of EEA, he was invited to participate in the EEA Industry Day Interoperability Panel.

Guess who else was on the panel? All the other major players from our space - Wormhole, Layer Zero, Axelar and Li.Fi protocol.

This is great news, because we're getting Wanchain's name out there TOGETHER with the other renowned movers and shakers from the interoperability space!

ZK-proof Bridging:
- This technology is still in its infancy, but it's already making big waves for the last 2 months, ever since BitcoinOS achieved a preliminary success with it.

- Solves a big issue that blockchain currently has = your transactions are either 100% public or 100% anonymous. There's no middle ground.
- Midnight solves this issue with selective transparency. Where as a user, Dapp, classic business or institution you can choose which data they want to make publicly available. This is the huge step towards blockchain adoption by both individuals and businesses.
- Midnight will offer all of the above for the Cardano blockchain, so they can both expand together side by side.
- Charles Hoskinson is super bullish on Midnight. It's being built by IOG to which he's closely related.

Conclusion:
- We're on the way to our own ZK-proof bridge = joining this big narrative in blockchain interoperability.
- And did I mention that Midnight has huge potential? And we will be the ONLY bridge connecting Cardano (#7 blockchain with $39 billion market cap) to it's most awaited and first-ever partner chain, Midnight? Imagine the volumes ...
