Today was a very long day, and it started very early for many of our people.

Several Russian terrorist attacks in one day. Shaheds, cruise missiles, ballistic missiles. Guided bombs. Thanks to our air defense, to all the defenders of the sky, at least hundreds of lives were saved today. In just one day. Most of the Shaheds and missiles were shot down.

But each such terrorist attack brings us and the whole world to an obvious conclusion: Russia wants to follow the path of evil to the end, that is, to its defeat, because evil cannot have any other end but defeat.

The world must see that terror is losing. When Patriots in the hands of Ukrainians ensure one hundred percent downing of any Russian missiles, terror is losing. When the world increases pressure on Russia, including sanctions, when the terrorist's isolation grows, when its former partners are ashamed of any closeness with Moscow, terror is losing

And, of course, there is no greater humiliation for a terrorist state than the success of our warriors. In fact, with our success, our pressure, our Patriots we must and will continue to respond to all manifestations of Russia's evil. And we will destroy this evil. No one else in the world uses weapons against evil more effectively than Ukrainians.

Glory to all our warriors! I thank the Air Force and all our defenders of the sky. Glory to Ukraine!

Обговорили виконання домовленостей, досягнутих під час мого нещодавнього візиту до Німеччини, і подальше посилення оборонних спроможностей України, зокрема нашої ППО. Скоординували позиції напередодні майбутніх міжнародних заходів.

I had a substantive phone call with Federal Chancellor of Germany Olaf Scholz. I am grateful to him for implementing a powerful €3 billion defense package.

We discussed the implementation of the agreements reached during my recent visit to Germany and further strengthening of Ukraine's defense capabilities, in particular our air defense. We coordinated our positions on the eve of upcoming international events.

Дякую за лідерську позицію в групі малих острівних держав на підтримку суверенітету й територіальної цілісності України.

Розповів про українську формулу миру та запропонував Кабо-Верде долучитися до її реалізації. Обговорили тему глобальної продовольчої безпеки, зокрема українську гуманітарну ініціативу «Зерно з України» #GrainFromUkraine.

We continue our systemic work with #GlobalSouth. I had the first phone call in the history of diplomatic relations with President of Cape Verde José Maria Neves.

Thank you for the leadership position in the SIDS group in support of Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity.

I spoke about the Ukrainian Peace Formula and offered Cape Verde to join its implementation. We discussed the topic of global food security, in particular #GrainFromUkraine humanitarian initiative.

Візит делегації Атлантичної ради в Україну – це черговий важливий сигнал підтримки нашої держави з боку Сполучених Штатів.

Дякую Президенту Байдену, усьому американському народу за потужну підтримку України від самого початку російської агресії. Цінуємо двопалатну та двопартійну підтримку Конгресу США.

Україна відстоює демократичні цінності, які поділяють обидві наші держави й народи. Це боротьба за свободу, за майбутнє світу.

The visit of the Atlantic Council delegation to Ukraine is another important signal of the United States' support for our country.

I thank President Biden and the entire American people for their strong support of Ukraine from the very beginning of Russian aggression. We appreciate the bicameral and bipartisan support of the U.S. Congress.

The ambassadors of the UNITED24 fundraising platform, football stars Andriy Shevchenko and Oleksandr Zinchenko are initiating a charity match in support of Ukraine, Game4Ukraine, to be held on August 5 in London. Its goal is to raise funds to rebuild the Mykhailo-Kotsiubynskyi Lyceum in Chernihiv region, which was destroyed by the occupiers in March 2022.

I welcome Oleksandr Zinchenko to the UNITED24 team of ambassadors and support the Game4Ukraine initiative at Stamford Bridge Stadium. This is an opportunity for the global football community to unite, demonstrate its solidarity and help Ukraine, help our children return to school desks, and draw the attention of the entire world community to the war again.

Зараз саме в Україні – на нашій землі, у нашому небі – вирішується, чи збережуть свобода і цивілізованість глобальне лідерство в цьому столітті. Вирішується нами разом з Америкою, разом із Європою, разом з усіма нашими союзниками і партнерами. Дякую всім у світі, хто допомагає!

І звичайно, сьогодні, як і завжди, я дякую нашим воїнам. Усім, хто зараз у бою заради України. Усім, хто на бойових завданнях, на бойових постах. Авдіївський напрямок, Бахмут, Марʼїнка, Шахтарський напрямок. Дякую всім, хто захищає наші позиції на Луганщині та на Харківщині. Дякую кожному і кожній, хто захищає Запоріжжя, Херсонщину. Дякую всім, хто тримає силу нашого кордону.

Наші бригади, які воюють. Наші бригади, які готові йти вперед. Наша розвідка. Наші Сили безпеки. На всіх напрямках та на всіх рівнях ворог повинен відчути, що Україна зміцніла.

Now, in Ukraine, on our land, in our sky, it is being decided whether freedom and civilization will retain global leadership in this century. Decided by us, together with America, together with Europe, together with all our allies and partners. I thank everyone in the world who helps us!

And, of course, today, as always, I thank our warriors. All those who are now fighting for Ukraine. All those who are on combat missions. At combat posts. The Avdiivka sector, Bakhmut, Maryinka, Shakhtarsk sector. I thank everyone who defends our positions in Luhansk and Kharkiv regions. I am grateful to each and every one who defends Zaporizhzhia and Kherson region. I thank everyone who keeps our border strong.

Our brigades that are fighting. Our brigades that are ready to move forward. And our intelligence. Our security forces. On all fronts and at all levels, the enemy must feel that Ukraine has become stronger.

Хочеться повернути дітей в Україну, і якнайшвидше, поки вони діти. Це – найважливіше!

Під час відкриття Центру захисту прав дитини, який протидіятиме злочинам Росії проти українських дітей, ознайомився з планом дій Bring Kids Back UA. Українська влада, закордонні уряди та міжнародні організаціі об’єднують свої зусилля заради повернення на батьківщину всіх маленьких громадян України.

Перший крок зроблено: 371 дитина – вдома, в Україні. Хочеться повернути всіх, і, напевне, головний сенс – у назві програми: Bring Kids Back UA. Я нам відверто бажаю повернути всіх дітей додому, в Україну, і повністю підтримую цю програму.

Дякую всім, хто допомагає Україні на цьому шляху.

We want to bring the children back to Ukraine as soon as possible, while they are still children. This is the most important thing!

During the opening of the Center for Child Protection, which will counter Russia's crimes against Ukrainian children, I got acquainted with the Bring Kids Back UA action plan. The Ukrainian government, foreign governments and international organizations are joining forces to return all young Ukrainian citizens to their homeland.

The first step has been taken, and 371 children are back home in Ukraine. We want to return all of them, and probably the key meaning is in the name of the program Bring Kids Back UA. I sincerely wish us to bring all children back home to Ukraine and fully support this program.

I am grateful to everyone who helps Ukraine on this path.

Ми даємо відсіч російській агресії та досить часто акцентуємо: ми захищаємо не лише Україну, а й усю вільну Європу, увесь вільний світ. І це об’єктивно, заслужено і чесно – та водночас не визначально. Бо насамперед ми захищаємо дітей. Усіх наших дітей.

Із 24 лютого для нас День захисту дітей – це кожен день. Усі 462 доби повномасштабної війни. 462 дні нашої битви – перш за все за дітей. За їхню волю та їхню долю. За Україну, яку ми залишимо їм. Європу, яку ми побудуємо разом. Світ, у якому вони будуть жити. Сьогодні ми бʼємося саме за те, яким цей світ буде.

І саме тому, коли ми кажемо «наші діти», ми маємо на увазі не лише українців і українок. Ми бʼємося разом за дітей – за всіх дітей, за всі наступні покоління. Те, що ми називаємо «завтра», те що ми хочемо збудувати і передати. Те, що ми називаємо майбутнім і можемо лише уявити, – для них буде сьогоденням і реаліями, які вони отримають у спадок від нас.

Ми відбудуємо все, що зруйнували російські окупанти. Ми зробимо все, аби кожна українська дитина змогла повернутись додому, в Україну. У своє місто, свій двір, свій дім, свою кімнату, своє ліжко, у своє дитинство. Повернутись у нормальне життя. Де не буде війни. Не буде понять «внутрішньо переміщені особи», «біженці», «депортація». Де татова казка і мамина колискова лунатимуть не по відеозв’язку, а наживо. Де безпечно. І вільно. І мирно. Де Україна.
