Захищаючи Україну зараз, ми памʼятаємо, що наша міцність і сила духу базуються на міцності й силі багатьох українців, які не здавалися, які мріяли та діяли заради того, щоб Україна жила. Самостійна, вільна і сильна Україна, європейська і демократична, незалежна і цілісна.

І жодного сумніву немає, що ми захистимо все це, що ми реалізуємо мрію українських героїв.

The first visit of the President of the United States to Ukraine in almost 15 years is the most important visit in the history of Ukrainian-American relations. And at this time, when our country is fighting for its freedom and freedom for all Europeans, for all people of the free world, it emphasizes how much we have already achieved and what historical results we can achieve together with the whole world, with Ukraine, with the United States, with the whole of Europe.

Today's talks with Joseph Biden were exactly as meaningful and important as it has already become a tradition for relations between our countries. I personally thank Mr. President, his entire team, the United States Congress and all Americans for the achieved strength of Ukrainian-American cooperation.

Разом з Джозефом Байденом відвідали Свято-Михайлівський Золотоверхий монастир. Поклали квіти до Стіни пам’яті загиблих за Україну. Вшанували пам’ять українських героїв.

І ще важливе: сьогодні на Алеї сміливості у Києві ми відкрили табличку, присвячену Президенту США.

Перший дзвінок вночі 24 лютого минулого року, наші переговори, постійна незмінна потужна увага нашій боротьбі і захисту української демократії, а також особистий внесок пана Президента Байдена у зміцнення позицій свободи у світі – це те, що завжди буде в історії.

Together with Joseph Biden, we visited St. Michael's Golden-Domed Monastery. We laid flowers to the Wall of Remembrance of those who died for Ukraine. We honored the memory of Ukrainian heroes.

Another important thing is that today we unveiled a plaque dedicated to the President of the United States on the Walk of the Brave in Kyiv.

The first call on the night of February 24 last year, our negotiations, the constant and unwavering strong attention to our struggle and defense of Ukrainian democracy, as well as Mr. President Biden's personal contribution to strengthening the position of freedom in the world - this is something that will always be remembered in history.

We really want business to develop, we want investments to come, and we know that the IMF always gives the right signals through its activities.

Mrs. Georgieva, thank you for your visit and for supporting Ukraine since the first days of Russia's full-scale invasion. It's nice that we are in focus of your attention.

Саме зараз і саме в Україні вирішується доля світового порядку, який заснований на правилах, на людяності, на передбачуваності. І сьогодні ми з Президентом Байденом говорили, зокрема, про те, як уже цього року зробити все для нашої спільної перемоги у війні, що була розпочата Росією.

Конкретні кроки для цього відомі. Наші оборонні потреби для цього відомі. Які активні дії для цього потрібні – дії передусім наших воїнів на фронті, – теж добре відомо нашим партнерам. Потрібна лише рішучість.

Сьогодні я побачив таку рішучість Президента Байдена та Сполучених Штатів Америки. І я хочу подякувати пану Президенту за цей його візит і за переговори – дійсно корисні.

Дякую також від імені всіх українців усім американцям – звичайним людям і лідерам громад і спільнот, членам Конгресу від обох партій і всім членам команди Президента Байдена – за те, що наші відносини, між Україною та Америкою, досягли історично найзмістовнішого рівня. Нас можна назвати справжніми союзниками, і наше союзництво з Америкою дійсно зміцнює світ.

Слава всім, хто воює за Україну! Дякую всім, хто допомагає! Світла памʼять кожному і кожній, хто віддав своє життя за волю для України!

It is now and in Ukraine that the fate of the world order, which is based on rules, on humanity, on predictability, is being decided. And today, President Biden and I talked, in particular, about how to do everything to ensure our common victory this year in the war that Russia unleashed.

The specific steps for this are known. Our defense needs for this are known. The active actions required for this - the actions of our warriors at the front first of all - are also well known to our partners. All we need is determination.

Today I saw such determination of President Biden and the United States of America. And I want to thank Mr. President for this visit and for the talks - really useful talks.

I am also thankful, on behalf of all Ukrainians, to all Americans - ordinary people and community leaders, members of Congress from both parties, and all members of President Biden's team - for bringing our relationship - between Ukraine and America - to a historically most meaningful level. We can be called true allies, and our alliance with America truly strengthens the world.
