Today was a busy day.
First, the meeting of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief. The main focus is on the battles for Avdiyivka and Bakhmut, for Luhansk region, for each of those directions where the enemy is trying to break the defense of the whole of Ukraine.

Second, the NSDC staff, together with the Government, together with ministers, is preparing a new potent list of sanctions against persons who work for aggression – they will be blocked.

Third, I held a long meeting devoted to energy, both strategic issues – the development and protection of our energy system under any conditions, and current issues – the energy supply of our people and Ukrainian business.

Fourth, we are adding a new tradition of respect to the official life of our state. Hundreds of thousands of Muslims in Ukraine and the Muslim community of the world – different countries, different nations – observe a strict fast during the holy month of Ramadan. When the sun sets, the Iftar dinner takes place. I had the honor of sharing Iftar with our soldiers, with representatives of the Mejlis, and with the entire Ukrainian Muslim community.

And fifth, I signed several decrees awarding our soldiers: 771 fighters. During the full-scale war, totally over 43,500 of our defenders were awarded state awards.

And I congratulate everyone who celebrates the Annunciation today! We pray for the victory of our soldiers and the salvation of all our people from the evil of occupation!

Чернігівщина одна з перших зіштовхнулася з агресією російських окупантів. Авіабомбардування, артилерійські обстріли цивільних будівель, пережиті тортури та страх ще надовго залишаться шрамами в спогадах місцевих жителів.
 
Жодного сліду окупанта на нашій землі не залишимо. І жодного ворога непокараним за страждання наших людей також не залишимо.

Chernihiv region was one of the first to face the aggression of the Russian invaders. Air bombing, artillery shelling of civilian buildings, torture and fear will remain scars in the memories of local residents for a long time.
 
We won't leave a single trace of the occupier on our land. And we won't leave any enemy unpunished for the suffering of our people either.

Especially our main thing is not to erase our values because we go with respect, for the sake of unity and freedom.

Цінності, за які ми всі боремося тут, в Україні, вони близькі кожному народу, незалежно від того, чи далеко географічно вони від нашого народу. Усі цінують безпеку й захист від терору. 

Немає такого народу, який би ставився схвально до того, що принесла російська окупація: до російських концтаборів, депортації наших дітей, до зґвалтування жінок, спалення міст... 

Чим більше світ знатиме про російську агресію, тим швидше агресор програє, і спокій повернеться. Повернеться не лише до України – повернеться всім у світі.

The values we are all fighting for here in Ukraine are relevant for every nation, regardless of whether they are geographically far from our people. Everyone values security and protection from terror.

There is no such nation that would gladly accept what the Russian occupation has brought – Russian concentration camps, the deportation of our children, the rape of women, the burning of cities…

The more the world knows about Russian aggression, the faster the aggressor will lose, and peace will return. It will return not only to Ukraine – it will return to everyone in the world.

Я щиро вітаю українців та всіх християн, які сьогодні відзначають Великдень. Відзначають на передовій і в різних наших містах і селах.

Вітаю братів поляків, литовців, латвійців, естонців. Наших справжніх друзів і союзників у США, Великій Британії, Німеччині, Італії, Франції, Канаді. У Празі та Братиславі, Любляні та Загребі, Відні та Бухаресті, Мадриді та Лісабоні, Амстердамі, Копенгагені та Брюсселі. Мільйони людей у Швеції, Фінляндії, Норвегії. Усіх, хто цього дня святкує Пасху в Європі, Латинській Америці, Африці, Азії та Австралії.

Це – сучасний світ. Світ, який прагне жити вільно. Світ, у якому цінують життя, повагу та рівність кожної людини. На варті цього світу сьогодні стоїть Україна. Воює за свою землю та бореться за свої цінності.

Два дні тому я розділив іфтар із мусульманами України. Незабаром поздоровлю іудеїв України із завершенням Песаху. А рівно за тиждень привітаю всіх, хто святкує Великдень цьогоріч 16 квітня.

Ми можемо сповідувати різні релігії, але ми однаково віримо у свободу. У нас можуть бути різні традиції, але є спільна для всіх – це захист рідної землі. Ми відзначаємо світлі свята в різні дати, але одна буде єдиною для всіх: для України та всього вільного світу.

Це День нашої Перемоги. Спільної. Неминучої. Перемоги світла, добра, справедливості, перемоги життя. Усього того, що символізує свято Господнього Воскресіння.

Із Великоднем!

Мій візит, переговори у Варшаві стали ще одним кроком до перемоги. Дякую за погоджені рішення, за потужний оборонний пакет. Дякую за життя, які ми рятуємо нашою солідарністю! 🇺🇦🇵🇱

Цієї ночі російська армія обстріляла Запоріжжя. Ракетами С-300.

Влучання – в будинок, житловий будинок. Троє людей були у ньому. Чоловік, жінка і дитина – дівчинка, її звали Ірина, цьогоріч їй би виповнилось 11 років. Вона загинула. Чоловік теж. Мої співчуття... Жінка – у важкому стані зараз, в лікарні, їй надається допомога.

Так держава-терорист проводить цю Вербну неділю. Так Росія ставить себе у ще більшу ізоляцію від світу, від людства.

Кожне світле християнське свято вчить нас, що ми можемо не знати – як, але маємо бути впевнені, що зло – програє. Маємо вірити. І ми – віримо. Маємо наближати програш зла. І ми – наближаємо. І світ – разом із нами. Щомісяця, щотижня додається підтримка, збільшується коло тих, хто нас підтримує, хто підтримує нашу сміливість і нашу віру в життя.

Слава всім українським героям! Кожному і кожній, хто зараз у бою! Кожному і кожній, хто зараз на бойових постах і завданнях!
Вічна і світла пам’ять усім, хто віддав своє життя, захищаючи життя України і українців!

Хай Вербна неділя наступного року пройде у мирі та свободі для всіх наших людей!
Хай щирі молитви про мир усіх, хто сьогодні святкує Великдень, будуть почуті!

Tonight, the Russian army shelled Zaporizhzhia with S-300 missiles.

They hit a house, an apartment building. Three people were inside. A man, a woman and a child - a girl, her name was Iryna, she would have turned 11 this year. She died. The man died too. My condolences... The woman is in critical condition, in the hospital, she is being provided with medical care.

This is how the terrorist state spends this Palm Sunday. This is how Russia puts itself in even greater isolation from the world, from humanity.

Every bright Christian holiday teaches us that we may not know how, but we must be sure that evil will lose. We have to believe. And we believe. We must bring the defeat of evil closer. And we are bringing it closer. And the world stands with us. Every month, every week, support is increased, the circle of those who support us, who support our grit and our faith in life, increases.

Glory to all Ukrainian heroes! To everyone who is now in battle! To everyone who is currently in combat positions or fulfilling missions!
Eternal and bright memory to all those who gave their lives protecting the lives of Ukraine and Ukrainians!

May next year's Palm Sunday pass in peace and freedom for all our people!
May the sincere prayers for peace of all who celebrate Easter today be heard!

Провів телефонну розмову з Прем’єр-міністром Іраку Мухаммадом Шіа Ас-Судані. Відзначив, що Україна готова до нової сторінки двосторонньої співпраці. Домовились активізувати всі наявні механізми взаємодії та започаткувати нові. Обговорили також українську формулу миру.

I had a phone call with Prime Minister of Iraq Mohammed Shia' Al Sudani. I noted that Ukraine is ready for a new page of bilateral cooperation. We agreed to activate all existing cooperation mechanisms and to launch new ones. The Ukrainian Peace Formula was also discussed.
