US stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Industrials and Technology sectors led shares lower. At the close in NYSE, the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 0.95%, while the S&P 500 index declined 0.77%, and the NASDAQ Composite index declined 0.87%. Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the New York Stock Exchange by 1,651 to 1,111 and 83 ended unchanged; on the Nasdaq Stock Exchange, 2,229 fell and 1,072 advanced, while 127 ended unchanged.
