》Allah has said in the Qur'an;
إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَغْفِرُ أَن يُشْرَكَ بِهِ وَيَغْفِرُ مَا دُونَ ذَٰلِكَ لِمَن يَشَاءُ ۚ
"Indeed, Allah does not forgive the association of partners (Shirk) with Him, but He forgives what is less than that for whom He wills." [Surah an-Nisaa 4:48]
■ The one sin that Allah has promised that He will not forgive is Shirk, So what is Shirk?
Islamically 'Shirk' means to associate a partner or a rival to Allah in His Lordship, worship or in His names and attributes.
》Shirk is the worst of sins and and the one who dies upon it will enter into the fire of Hell, as Allah has said;
وَجَعَلُوا لِلَّهِ أَندَادًا لِّيُضِلُّوا عَن سَبِيلِهِ ۗ قُلْ تَمَتَّعُوا فَإِنَّ مَصِيرَكُمْ إِلَى النَّارِ
“And they set up rivals to Allah, to mislead (men) from His path! Say: ‘Enjoy (your brief life)! But certainly, your destination is the (Hell) Fire!’” [Surah Ibraheem 14:30]
》The Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه و سلم said;
" مَنْ مَاتَ وَهْوَ يَدْعُو مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ نِدًّا دَخَلَ النَّارَ "
"Whoever dies while still invoking anything other than Allah as a rival to Allah, will enter Hell (Fire)." [Sahih al-Bukhari, 4497]
○ There are two types of Shirk - Major & Minor. This will be discussed in another post.

● The Miracle Of Isra’ & Mi’raaj (the Prophet’s night journey and ascent into Heaven) ●
Allah said;
"Exalted is He (Allah) who took His Servant (Muhammad) by night from al-Masjid al-Haram to al-Masjid al- Aqsa, whose surroundings We have blessed, to show him of Our signs. Indeed, He (Allah) is the All Hearing, the All Seeing." [Surah Isra 17:1]
There are many authenticated hadith that speak of the night journey and what the Prophet صلي الله عليه وسلم saw & experienced.
● Did Isra & Miraj Take Place In Rajab? ●
There is no authentic hadith to indicate that it happened in Rajab or in any other month. Everything that has been narrated concerning a specific date for these events cannot be authentically proven to have come from the Prophet صلي الله عليه وسلم.
● Can I Celebrate The So Called Night Of Isra & Miarge By Worship & Fast The Next Day? ●
The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم did not single it out & celebrate it.
The sahaba (may Allah be pleased with all of them) did not single it out & celebrate it.
● So What If The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم Didn't Celebrate It, I'm Doing Something Good! ●
If celebrating the night of Isra & Miraj was something good, the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم would have told his ummah about it, either in word or in action. If any such thing had happened, it would have been well known, and his companions would have transmitted the information to us.
The sahaba narrated from their Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم everything that his ummah needs to know, and they did not neglect any aspect of the religion, rather they were the first ones to do anything good. If celebrating this night had been prescribed in Islam, they would have been the first people to do so.
Allah has perfected Islam
》“This day, I have perfected your religion for you, completed My Favour upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion” [al-Maa’idah 5:3]
● Opposing The Sunnah Is Sinful & Falls Into Religious Innovation ●
》The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said:
“Whoever introduces anything into this matter of ours (i.e Islam) that is not part of it will have it rejected.” [Bukhari]
》“Whoever does any action that is not part of this matter of ours will have it rejected.” [Muslim]
》“The best of speech is the Book of Allah and the best of guidance is the guidance of Muhammad (i.e the sunnah). The worst of matters are those which are newly-invented, and every innovation is misguidance and every misguidance is in the Fire.” [Muslim, Nasaai']
》“I advise you Whoever among you lives will see many differences, so I urge you to adhere to my Sunnah and the way of the rightly-guided caliphs (Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthmaan & Ali) who will come after me, and cling firmly to it. Beware of newly-invented matters, for every newly-invented matter is an innovation and every innovation is a going astray." [Tirmidhi, Abu Dawud]
Allah said;

The Imaam, the Scholar of Hadeeth and Fiqh, the Reviver of the Sunnah, Shaikh Al-Albaanee (rahimahullaah) was asked: “If one of us grabbed a Jew, is it permissible to kill him?”
The Discussion:
》Questioner:
Today in Palestine our people are in a situation of a continuous struggle with the Jews. Is it permissible according to the Sharia’ if one of us grabbed a Jew, is it permissible to kill him?
■ The Shaykh Al-Albaanee:
Is it permissible to do what!?!
》Questioner:
Permissible to kill him?
■ The Shaykh Al-Albaanee:
Okay, is it permissible to kill a Jew? Kill him!? Where? Here or over there?
》Questioner:
Over there.
■ The Shaykh Al-Albaanee:
Over there, my brother do you not see that when a Jew is killed then in return a great number of Muslims are killed, have you not seen this!!?
Those killed from the Muslims are so many more!!?
》Question:
From the Muslims? But these actions are essential so that we put fear into their hearts and scare them.
■ The Shaykh Al-Albaanee:
No!! It is not essential that it is like this.
》Question:
Then until when do we do this?
■ The Shaykh Al-Albaanee:
It is not essential that it is done like this!
“Sa’ad wanted to water the camels, while wearing a gown. O Sa’ad camels are not watered like this!”
(Arabic proverb used when difficult tasks are done inappropriately).
Imagine, if your situation continues like this, what will be the result? What will the Muslims be watching and witnessing!!? And the Palestinians, what will they be slaughtered for? What will be the result? A Jew is killed and in return tens of Palestinians are killed, thousands imprisoned, what will be the result? Will this be a victory against the Jews? This is not the way, in reality the Muslims have now mistaken the way of Jihad. Jihad begins with Jihad an-Nafs (Jihad of one’s own self) like the Messenger (alayhi as-Salaat wa Salaam) said:
المجاهد من جاهد هواه لله
‘The Mujahid is the one who makes Jihad against his desires for the sake of Allaah.’
I am not talking about the hadeeth which is famous on the tongues of the people:
رجعنا من الجهاد الأصغر إلى الجهاد الأكبر
‘We have returned from the minor Jihad to the major Jihad.’
This is a weak hadeeth, however the authentic hadeeth dispenses with the weak one which is the saying of the Messenger (alayhi as-Salat wa Salam):
المجاهد من جاهد نفسه لله
‘The Mujahid is the one who makes Jihad against his own-self and his desires for the sake of Allaah.’
[From Silsilah Huda wa Noor Tape 317]
The Imaam, the Scholar of Hadeeth and Fiqh, the Reviver of the Sunnah, Shaikh Al-Albaanee (rahimahullaah) was asked: “If one of us grabbed a Jew, is it permissible to kill him?”
