Ukrainian security forces have stormed the premises of the Transfiguration Cathedral in Belaya Tserkov (Kiev region).
The invaders broke down the doors with bolt cutters and sledgehammers, blocked the gates and prevented parishioners from entering.
They used violence and pepper gas canisters against those who tried to break through. One of the Orthodox priests tried to disperse the invaders with a fire extinguisher.
Earlier, Ukrainian security forces seized an Orthodox church in the village of Uladovka in the Vinnytsya region.

https://democracy.brighton-hove.gov.uk/mgEPetitionDisplay.aspx?Id=879 but we need as many signatures on this petition against Ultra Low Emissions Charges - ULEZ - and Low Traffic Neighbourhoods - LTNs coming to Brighton and Hove as possible before 19th July as I am presenting it at next full BHCC Council Meeting on 20th July at 4.30pm
Please sign here if you have not already and share far and wide to everyone you know in Brighton and Hove who might be affected as not everyone is on social media. And ULEZ WILL affect everyone if it goes through even if they don't have a car as suddenly everything will become a lot more expensive and local businesses will close. In fact single mums and sole contractors would be hardest hit as they are least able to afford new vehicles. The current ULEZ cost per day of driving in central London is £12.50 and they are regularly changing the goalposts about which vehicles are 'compliant' and which are not, but all vehicles will have passed their legally-required yearly emissions tests.
