The Doncaster Residents Association went out yesterday to raise awareness about 5G locally. Shops, Cafes etc were all happy to advertise the leaflets in their windows!

Have you noticed Smart poles??
Just heard smart poles are being trialled to deliver 4G and 5G. They are replacing telegram poles, it will come under permitted development. Frustratingly there is little clarity whether it will under the class of permitted development where there is the need to apply to the Local Planning Authority for its 'Prior Approval'
This seems a PR advertorial:

It begs the question: What does "appropriate community engagement" actually mean??

The fiasco that is the road "improvement" works at the Balloon Roundabout, or rather the destruction of the immediate wildlife habitat... Two 5G masts have suddenly reared their ugly heads where once stood a forest. The roadworks are not even complete yet, and they've already installed TWO monopoles. There is a dwelling close by. (I feel sorry for the owner, the house used to be in the woods, and now they have these two monstrosities outside as well)
