Highlights from the North Devon RA who held their first public meeting the other evening! 👏
The turn out was really positive and they had a few different speakers talking about various issues that impact the public..

On 21st November 2024, Merseyside Residents Association were out in force to tackle the ever-increasing threat to health of people living around the Sefton area from the onslaught of 5G installations.
Merseyside RA monitored 5G installations by a sports ground and two schools. They conversed with telecom engineers working on one mast and got to see inside a control cabinet.
Meanwhile, Gary, a representative of Merseyside RA delivered a 9 page document packed with evidence from EM Radiation Research Trust to the office of local MP, Bill Esterton who, who was unavailable, yet his colleague assured Merseyside RA he would make him aware and raise the issue and concerns at Government level.

These things will enable more drone technology and will enhance the smart city roll-out.
They are being ‘sold’ as beneficial because they can advise on any climate changes, amongst being able to help charge drones and EV Cars.
It is estimated that there has been 25k locations that are ear marked to have these put in ~ here’s some more info:

New small smart poles have been trialled in the UK, that could remove the need for tall mobile masts and aid cities in their smart city initiatives.

Unfortunately the Planning Department at Swindon Borough Council have approved the application for a 5G monopole on Ganton Way, next to a nursery school on Bramble Road.
Only 30 objections were received, only 3 of which were from concerned parents at the nursery and one local resident. This shows the importance of taking a few moments to object online to these masts. If more objections were received then we may have stopped this one. Very disappointing.
Of the objections received, there were some detailed reasons put forward. It seems that Swindon Council Planning Department have chosen to ignore all these concerns outright.
We can't win them all, so we carry on fighting.
