• The UK has estimated that 10k-100k birds are killed per year because of them
• Scotland chopped down 18m trees to enable more wind-turbines
• They are speculating that another 2,600 wind turbines are needed which is costing approx £48 billion
• Wind turbines are 20% to 40% efficient at converting wind into energy. The typical life span of a wind turbine is 20 years
