[Update] East Coast Park beachfront at Areas B & E will be re-opened from today. While it is safe to use the beach, you’re advised not to swim or undertake primary contact sports such as wakeboarding and stand-up paddling in the beach waters. #PSA Beaches at East Coast Park re-opened yesterday (11 Aug 2024).

🎉 A shoutout to everyone, especially our clean-up teams, who worked hard to restore the beautiful beaches ahead of time.

Non-primary contact water sports, such as kayaking, can resume.
While it is safe to use the beach, you’re advised not to undertake primary contact water sports such as swimming or wakeboarding.

Water activities can only fully resume when the water quality returns to normal and is stable. We’ll continue to monitor the water quality. Information on the water quality at beaches is available at: go.gov.sg/beach-water-info

There’s more good news at Kusu Island – the beach has re-opened and all water activities including swimming and other primary contact water activities can resume.
