Doing your spring cleaning? If you are disposing of bulky items such as furniture, don’t just leave them at the dustbin area or other public spaces. It is unsightly, may cause inconvenience to others, or even become potential mosquito breeding habitats.

If you live in HDB flats, contact your Town Council for removal services; for residents living at private estates, you may contact the public waste collector serving your estate. More info at go.gov.sg/nea-disposal-of-bulky-waste

A scrumptious meal with your family and friends doesn’t have to be excessive.

If they are visiting other places beforehand, check with them first on how much they can eat. Let’s cook or order only what we can finish, to avoid food waste!

Let’s all do our part to support a smoke-free lifestyle this Year of the Rabbit!

Smokers are reminded to be considerate when smoking at public places.

Everyone can also play an active role, by reminding smokers where smoking is prohibited (go.gov.sg/smoking-prohibition).

Have leftover items from your Lunar New Year festivities?

Be sure to place food that is near expiry within view, and practise the “First to Expire, First Out” approach when organising your home pantry!
