Heading to #OurHawkerCentres? From 29 Mar, up to 5 fully vaccinated persons are allowed to dine in together at all hawker centres, where COVID-19 VDS checks, issuance of stickers and fencing will be removed, to allow greater accessibility and convenience.

If you are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, you cannot dine in but can continue to take away food. Enforcement officers will continue to conduct spot checks, and enforcement action will be taken against unvaccinated individuals found dining in.

#OurHawkerCentres and markets are indoor premises, so do keep your masks on, except when eating or drinking. Even as we transit towards living with COVID-19, let’s continue to stay vigilant and continue to adhere to SMMs, to protect ourselves and our loved ones.
Let’s be considerate when paying respects to our ancestors this Qing Ming, by keeping our public spaces clean. Use burners and containers when burning joss paper, and don’t leave behind any food offerings or litter. Visitors are also reminded to book an e-appointment if they are driving to Choa Chu Kang Columbarium (on 2, 3, 5, 9, 10, 15, 16, 17 Apr) and Mandai Columbarium (from 26 Mar to 17 Apr). Only vehicles with valid e-appointments will be allowed to enter and park. More at www.nea.gov.sg/qingming2022

♻️💪 Thanks for doing your part to #RecycleRight. Last year, we saw an improvement in Singapore’s overall recycling rate - from 52% in 2020 to 55% in 2021. Notably, recyclables collected under the National Recycling Programme, which includes those from the blue recycling bins, increased by 14%! The latest waste and recycling statistics also revealed that about 6.94 million tonnes of solid waste was generated in 2021, 18% more than in 2020, resulting from the recovery of our economy and businesses in 2021. Check out the infographic for the key highlights or visit www.nea.gov.sg/energy-waste/waste-management/waste-statistics-and-overall-recycling for more details.

Not all materials can be placed in Bloobin for recycling. Our blue bins can only accommodate items made of paper, plastic, metal or glass.
