Reusable bags can be easily thrown into the washing machine or spot cleaned. While they do require more care, they can be reused many more times than their plastic counterparts making them better for the environment!

Commencing on 1 Apr 2025, the beverage container return scheme aims to encourage more Singaporeans to cultivate the recycling habit. A refundable deposit of 10 cents will be applied to beverage containers displaying a deposit mark. Consumers will be able to claim the deposit by returning their empty beverage containers at designated return points.
By increasing the supply and quality of recyclables collected, the scheme will also support the development of Singapore’s recycling industry. Find out more at go.gov.sg/nea-bcrs-mar2023
