Protect yourself against spiritual issues

Part 1

Jinns are part of creation and have their own abilities, territories and rules.
There are certain things that attract them to us or can harm or disturb them which then lead them to approach human beings and eventually cause serious mental or spiritual disorders.

The tips below are extracted from Islamic Ahadith and recommendations of Masoumin.

🔺 Avoid using mirrors in the rooms. If you must then make sure you cover them when they are not in use.

🔺 Make sure to cover your cooked foods and drinks such as milk when you are not eating / drinking them (even those in the fridge).

🔺 Cover your drinking water container especially over night.

🔺 Avoid giving human or animal dolls to children as children of Jinns enjoy playing with these types of toys.

🔺Don't let your child sleep with their hands smelling of food as this causes nightmares and attracts Jinns.

🔺 Try to live in the lower levels of buildings or houses because upper levels enter into Jinn territories according to Hadith (Not more than 3.5 meters height).

🔺 Try to eat your food with your hand and avoid using metallic cutlery. You can use wooden instead.
The same goes for metallic water containers. Glass is the better option. Instead of metallic pots use clay, stone, glass or granite cooking pots.

🔺 Make sure you do Aqiqa for your kids on the 7th day after they are born in order to protect them against spiritual disorders and Jinns. If you're not sure whether your parents had done an Aqiqa for you or not, you can do it for yourself whilst keeping in mind the name your parents chose for you. Given that names chosen for people don't always match them and therefore can be the cause of issues in their life, the aqiqa can even be performed with a new name later in life.

Islamic lifestyle and poverty

Islamic lifestyle incudes all aspects of our lives. Islamic economy is designed so accurately that ensures no one suffers from hunger and everyone lives peacefully.

In an Islamic society there's no one suffering from hunger.
In an Islamic society everyone works constructive. The income is distributed within the nation so that everyone benefits. Let's take a look at the rulings and recommendations in Islamic teachings:

1- when baby is born Aqiqa is highly recommended for them and you slaughter an animal and give the whole meat to your relatives and friends.

2- when you get married you give Walima to all your relatives and friends

3- when you earn, you give a portion of your products to needy people as Khums and zakat is paid to ensure everyone benefit from each other.

4- when you want to travel you re told to pay sadaqa or charity to protect yourself.

5- When you get sick you pay sadaqa to empower your prayer for a quick recovery.

6- In Eed Al Adha you make sure to pay Fitriya as money or essential daily products like wheat or rice to your relatives or friends who need it.

7- when you go for Hajj you give a cattle as part of your rituals and that is give to the needy people.

So there are many other examples that we can see how an Islamic nation can be healthy and wealthy by sharing, caring and loving others especially your relatives and family.

No one remains hungry when you share and others share with you.

Of course lazyness is not allowed in such society as hadith says the nation who has soil and water and they suffer from poverty they're indeed cursed.
👉 Imam Ali used to live as low as lowest people in the nation however when we convert the zakat he used to pay for his wealth, it was 40000 Iraqi Dinar which in today's equivalent value it'll be USD 4 Milion which means his annual income was USD 16 Milion! (With one Dinar they used to trade a sheep)

But his wealth was all in other people's hands in different forms of wells, farms and properties he turned from a naked land into palm tree gardens.

🧠 Weak memory

🌹The holy prophet (p.b.u.H):
O' Ali , there are 9 things which causing weak memory:
Eating sour apple, coriander, cheese, etc

🔅☁️🔅☁️🔅☁️🔅☁️🔅☁️🔅☁️🔅☁️

The tips to be followed in the months of June-July:

💠 Imam Al-Reza (a.s.) has said:

🔹June (Huzayra'n) is thirty days; the power of phlegm terminates therein; the time of the yellow bile comes;

one must refrain from tiredness and eating abundant meat; one must NOT smell musk and ambergris; it is useful to eat cold vegetables such as endive and purslane,

to eat greens such as cucumber, purgative manna, ripe fruit, to use soured things; of the meat is goat and young goat; of the birds is chickens, dull-yellow partridge (tahiyujj), francolins; yogurt and fresh fish.

As for June (Huzayra'n), it is the first of the months of summer; bodies become weak therein, for they face intense and bitter heat. The Imam, peace be on him, has emphasized that one must:

1. avoid tiredness.

2. avoid having abundant meat.

3. eat vegetables and fruit, for they are light, and not heavy.

🔹 July (Tammu'z) is thirty-one days; heat becomes intense therein; water goes down; one must drink cool water before breakfast, eat cold, fresh things, and digestible foods (like those mentioned in June); one must smell cold, wet flowers with agreeable scent.

As for July (Tammu'z), it is the heaviest of all the months of the year. That is because of the intense heat which occurs when water goes down. The Imam has stressed that one must use cold things and eat light foods lest the digestive system should be affected by them.
He has also focused on that one must smell cold flowers with pleasant scent, for they have a good effect on the digestive system and general cognitive function which helps relieving headaches caused by excess Safra.

👼🏼 Treatments for Infertility

In Islamic teachings, family is a very important unit for which we have hundreds of different advices which includes before marriage period and after and we get precious guidelines of how to have a healthy and happy family.

☝️🏼Here we discuss one important topic:
what is the treatment for Infertility according to Islamic medicine?

Islamic teachings recommendations starts from the day of marriage.

🔸The holy prophet said: O' Ali, tell your wife to avoid coriander, milk, vinegar and sour apple in the first week after marriage. (In Islamic teachings, conceiving starts from the first night of marriage).

Imam Ali asked: O' messenger of God why should she avoid these?
Prophet replied: "Because these would make the uterus cold." 1

As you can see they're talking about coldness and warmness.

The holy Quran says: "Your wives are a tilth for you" 2

Tilth is the fertile ready soil for farming.
So to make it simple, when farming, we can't plant in the cold snowy land nor in the dry desert. Therefore we need a strong and moderate soil.

💡So whatever makes the temperament of your wife and her uterus excessive cold or excessive warm and dry will cause infertility.

According to Islamic medicine infertility has multiple reasons and the above instruction is the primary step to consider.

If infertility is in woman:
She avoids what makes her body cold such as excessive water, yogurt, cheese, fish, and reduce chicken as much as possible, excessive watermelon, wearing tight non-cotton underwear clothes, taking bath during menstrual (if they have to, quick shower is fine), sitting on cold surfaces for long such as grass, damp floor, etc

How to treat it:
First make sure the menstrual is regulated and she is not experiencing cramps.

👉 These help to regulate the period and improve the fertility system in women :
📝 Consuming fennel seed tea daily, applying henna on the head once a week, applying Noora powder under the stomach at least once in 10 days, massaging under stomach area with warm oils like fennel oil, olive and black seed oil every night.
Leg Hijamah for those who are not anemic, and other tips that would be recommended by a Hakim.

In Men:
To increase the number of sperms, their speed and to correct their shape:
Avoid the same cold type of foods mentioned above, apply Noora frequently, eat more chickpea soup or roasted chanas, consume fried organic eggs with extra virgin olive oil and white onion twice a week.

📌 Islamic Medicines:
Tinfil is the best herbal and Islamic medicine.
Alongside: Kaasni, Kavar will help in erection and weakness issues.

We have observed hundreds of different cases of Infertility which ended up in becoming fertile after following the above instructions and consulting a Hakim.

🌿🌴Greenery and depression:

In our Islamic teachings having a big court yard and looking at greenery is highly recommended.
Imam Ali (a.s) says:
النظر الی الخضرة نشرة
Looking at greenery is refreshing

There are lots of ways to make our house and living space green and keep useful plants which can benefit us the most.

🌳 Fruit trees:
You don't need a garden to have a fruit tree however that's the most ideal place but not the most convenient.
So you can have a small tree and keep it in a pot and keep it in your room or balcony or court yard.

🌴Recommended trees according to the climate:

☃️If you're in a cold and dry climate like Canada, you can grow walnut, jujube, acorn, almond, yellow apple, mulberry, black berry, apricot and more

🌨If you're in a cold and wet climate like Europe you can keep orange, lemon, tangerine, apple, kiwi, pomegranate, avocado, etc

☀️If you're in a warm and dry climate you can try growing pistachio, date, grapes, almond, figs, etc

🌦If you're in a warm and humid climate you can try mango, avocado, figs, passion, guava and if you've got more space you can try pineapple and guava too.

Instead of fruitless plants at home, try planting a fruit tree or useful herbs at home such as basil, lavender, eucalyptus, purslane, etc

🌺 Friday rituals:

✋🏼Cutting nails :

The holy Prophet (p.b.u.H):
Whoever cuts their nail and trims their moustache on Friday Allah (s.w) would reward him with healing and removes pain (from him).

🛠 Metallic items in the house:

One of the items recommended in an Islamic house and architecture is the least use of metallic materiels.

As you can see in some old Islamic architectures despite having access to metal they preferred using stones and woods to build their houses.

In the old Japanese houses the nails were even made from hard woods and the houses were strong enough against earthquakes.

The reason behind this within Islamic nations and from Islamic perspective is the fact that metal is "unclean"
As the holy prophet (p b.u.h) said: "Metal is unclean"
Obviously it's not talking about being hygienic or not but it's said that it is cold and does attract Jinns and that's why according to jurisprudence praying on metallic surface is not allowed.

Other Ahadith advise us to wash the hands which have touched the metallic surfaces like swords, knives, nail cutters, etc in order to be safe from spiritual side effects.

Another thing that is very common is using metallic utensils. These can be replaced by wooden utensils which are widely available these days. Or we can use stone or clay pots and replace metallic containers with glass ones whenever possible.
