This book!

The last two years in a nutshell: We couldn't get testing supplies. Then we had shortages of vehicles and computer chips and toilet paper, of all things, and other items over the course of these 2 years. I've worked 60-80 hour weeks in 2020 and 2021. We have been away from friends and family. Many people have died. We've had civil unrest and injustice, and insurrection. Mass shootings and politicking. Firebombings and threats. We have politicians who don't play well together. Baby formula shortages and we're still short of cars and computer chips. Now we have war (real and economic) high gas prices, high food prices, high everything, and a housing market that's horrible, COVID-19, AND Monkeypox.

I am ready to move to Mars!

In all seriousess, my days have been filled with prayer and action. I have zero control over any of this and I can't fix any of it alone. Where I can make a difference, and love people, I will. Where I can take a stand, I will - whether that be with myself or my vote. Where I can unify, I will. Where I must lay down my life for others, I will (just as Jesus did). This is all we can do in a broken world -love and act, one day and one person at a time.

The Catholics had it right! We have to get back to a "culture of life!"

If Jesus came today, we'd kill him in "Christian" America. He would take our power away and we can't abide that just as the Pharisees could not. Many want power over servanthood. The Church today seeks power, not servanthood. Jesus did not seek power while here on Earth, he was a servant. His choosing to die for us should prove that. He didn't have to, he wanted to. We would be wise to do as Jesus did in this time. Yes, we can and should speak the truth to power; and we do that from a place of love, grace, and humility or we will never win them.

Who is telling the truth? That is the question that will be answered in the coming days and weeks. The Lion will come with a roar that will pierce the dark, and Truth IS His name!

Subtle and summery. ❤️

Yesterday, Patriot Front members were arrested for trying to insite a riot in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho at a Pride Event. I am glad they were arrested too! They came with faces covered much like Antifa (aka the Black Bloc). Things that make you go "hmmmmmm....." Perbaps they are really just birds of the same feather?

Meanwhile, it would seem a group of devout Catholic men and women nearby came with crosses and prayed about this parade from a distance.

My point is this: No matter your opionion of Pride Events, the Spirit of Christ is peaceful and those who represent him are to be peaceful or they do not represent Him at all. They are to have no traffic with violent men (aka Nazis) who disguise their faces and who come to insite riots and harm other image bearers.

Eyes wide open people, eyes wide open.

There is something seriously wrong with this country at it's heart. I feel so politically homeless these days (a subject I will write about this week). I haven't lost my hope. I am waiting on our Hope to come.
