Kudos to all winners of this year’s Public Transport Safety and Security Awards (#PTSSA) for their efforts in ensuring safety and security across our PT network! 🥳🎉
#DidYouKnow The PTSSA comprises two categories:
1️⃣ The Operator category which recognises rail, bus and Point-to-Point operators for their commitment to safety for both employees and commuters alike. 🚇🚌🚕
2️⃣ The Public Transport Worker category which recognises the workers for preventing potential safety and security incidents through their timely actions and efforts to enhance operational safety at their workplaces. ⛑🛡
With millions of PT journeys daily, it’s vital that our PT workers remain vigilant against potential threats to ensure commuters like you and I continue to enjoy safe and reliable rides.
#ThankYou 🙌 to all award winners once again and learn more about their contributions at ➡️ go.gov.sg/ptssa-2023

#PSA 📢 We will be making additional adjustments to #COE Category A 🚗 in anticipation of demand following changes to the Vehicular Emissions Scheme (VES) rebates from 1 Jan 2024.
We will inject an additional 300 Category A COEs across the two COE bidding exercises in Oct 2023, increasing the Category A quota available for the two Oct 2023 exercises by 24%. This will come from the same pool of guaranteed deregistrations of 5-year non-extendable COEs.
There is no change to the quota for other categories.

#PSA To facilitate the construction of the North-South Corridor (#NSC) tunnel in the Marymount area, the existing Marymount Flyover will be closed to traffic from 8 Oct 2023 onwards. 🚧⛔️
Motorists travelling along Marymount Road will be diverted to a new road that intersects with Braddell Road.🚦🛣️
As part of the NSC tunnel runs underneath the flyover, this diversion will create the space required for the construction works. #ThankYouForUnderstanding
