Introducing LHMI Prayer 🙏 Wall 🌎

What is a prayer wall?
A Christian prayer wall is a designated place for people to post their prayer needs, usually in written form. It is a designated space for publicly requested prayers or to display praise reports. These requests can range from a member needing physical healing, a prayer of safe travels for an upcoming trip, or someone going through a challenging time that needs encouragement. In response, a surrounding community of believers will pray for the posted requests. In our case the Prayer Warriors, Gatekeepers and Intercessors of LHMI will review and lift up prayer.

When did we start?
1st launched in October 2022 during Lighthouse Ministries International Monthly Corporate Fasting and Prayer as a private channel, we have now opened it up to meet the growing prayer needs of many.

Prayer “walls” can even be found online, amongst a community of believers, where one can find prayer requests from fellow believers on these sites.Ours is one of the online walls.

Why do we have one?
Though the origins of prayer walls are unknown, we do know the origins of communal prayer. Prayer in a community was taught by the first apostles and disciples, but even more importantly it was taught by Jesus. Jesus says “For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them” (Matthew 18:20). Our Teacher urged His believers to come together in prayer and a prayer wall does just that. The prayer wall ignites a fire for the people to stay together in prayer in the midst of hardship or in triumph.

Who are our prayers made to on the wall?
Yahweh - the personal name of God (The Father) and we pray in the Name of Jesus (The Son) Christ, relying on the Holy Spirit (The one who intercedes, supports and acts as an advocate, particularly in times of trial).

PSA 1: Giving platform Update
Last month our giving platform provider updated their interface, as well as their features and there were 2 glitches (login and fees calculations), the glitches have been fixed. The platform was still working during that time, thanks to those who continued to give online.
