وزَّع نائب الرئيس التنفيذي لمصفاة ميناء عبدالله مطلق العازمي، الجائزة الدورية للصحة والسلامة والبيئة في مصفاة ميناء عبدالله لعام 2017 – 2018.

وأكد العازمي أن هذه الجائزة تتضمن رؤية الشركة ومساعيها للمضي قدماً في الأداء المتميز بالصحة والسلامة والبيئة.

وعبر بحضور مدراء الدوائر ورؤساء الفرق عن فخره بنيل المصفاة جائزة مجلس السلامة البريطاني (Merit).

وكذلك حصولها على جائزة روسبا منذ العام 2002 سنويا، وجائزة "الرئيس" المتميزة من روسبا في عام 2018 للسنة الـ 13 على التوالي.
وقد نالت المصفاة الجائزة الذهبية في مسابقة "البترول الوطنية" للصحة والسلامة والبيئة لعام 2018.

DCEO of MAB Mutlaq Al-Azmi handed over the Rolling Trophy for Health, Safety, and Environment at MAB for 2017-2018.

Al-Azmi stated that this prize reflects the Company’s vision and endeavors to push forward in the outstanding performance regarding health, safety, and environment.

In the presence of department Managers and Team Leaders, he said that he was proud of MAB being awarded the prize of Merit by the British Safety Council.

Moreover, Al-Azmi went on to express his appreciation since MAB has been awarded the Royal Society for Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) since 2002 on an annual basis, and the prestigious “President” category in 2018 for 13 years consecutively.

Furthermore, MAB received the Gold Award in a competition organized by KNPC for health, safety, and environment for 2018.

#KNPC organized the second meeting of Technologies Committee of Gulf Downstream Association (GDA) at MAB Administration Building. The Company received GDA delegation consisting of representatives from UAE, KSA and Bahrain in addition to representatives of Kuwait Petroleum International Co. (KPI) and Kuwait Integrated Petroleum Industries Co. (KIPIC).

The attendees discussed the latest developments pertaining to the refineries works in the region. A presentation on MAB was also submitted by the Process Engineering TL Jameela Al-Mutairi who explained the latest developments in the said refinery in preparation for CFP.

كرَّمت جمعية الهندسة الكيميائية شركة البترول الوطنية، لرعايتها حفل تخرج وتفوق طلبة قسم الهندسة الكيميائية في كلية الهندسة والبترول بجامعة الكويت للعام 2017 – 2018.

وتقدم كل من رئيس القسم د. عبدالوهاب المسلم، ورئيس جمعية الهندسة الكيميائية خالد مال الله، بالشكر والتقدير للشركة، بصفتها الراعي الماسي للحفل.

نظم فريق #مشروع_الدبدبة للطاقة الشمسية عرضا موجزا لسير الأعمال، وآخر الخطوات والتطورات التي طرأت على المشروع، وذلك بحضور نائب الرئيس التنفيذي للمشاريع عبدالله فهاد العجمي، راعي المشروع، بالإضافة الى مدير دائرة المشاريع 2 صالح الرخيص مدير المشروع وعدد من المدراء ورؤساء الفرق.

وأشار العجمي إلى أن الهدف من هذا المشروع هو تنويع مصادر الطاقة المتجددة، وصولاً إلى توفير 15% من احتياجات دولة #الكويت من الكهرباء من مصادر الطاقة المتجددة في عام 2030، بالإضافة الى توفير هذه النسبة من استهلاك الطاقة الكهربائية للقطاع النفطي من الطاقة الشمسية في عام 2020.

ونوه إلى مساعي الشركة للحصول على قرض لتمويل المشروع من البنوك المحلية الكويتية بالدينار الكويتي، وكذلك التواصل مع المقاولين المؤهلين الذين لديهم خبرة في تنفيذ مشاريع مشابهة في عدد من دول العالم.

وقد قام أعضاء الفريق بالرد على استفسارات وأسئلة الحضور حول المشروع، وكذلك حول متطلبات وزارة الكهرباء والماء.

In the presence of DCEO for Projects Abdullah Fahad Al-Ajmi, being the Project sponsor, and Department Manager of Projects -2 Saleh Al-Rkhayes, being the Project Manager, as well as a number of managers and team leaders, Al-Dibdibah Solar Project Team created an outline of the work progress and the latest steps and developments at the project.

During the meeting, Al-Ajmi said that the Project’s aim is to diversify the renewable energy sources so as to raise the percentage of saving energy up to 15% of Kuwait’s electricity from renewable sources by 2030, and saving the same ratio of the total electricity consumption by the oil sector from the solar energy by 2020.

Al-Ajmi mentioned that the Company is planning to assume a loan from the local Kuwaiti banks in Kuwaiti Dinar for financing this project. He added that the Company has also initiated a contact with pre-qualified contractors who have already executed similar projects in different countries. The team members entertained the attendees’ questions and queries about the said project, and also about the requirements of the Ministry of Electricity and Water.

نظمت الدوائر التابعة لنائب الرئيس التنفيذي للمشاريع عبدالله فهاد العجمي لقاءها السنوي لهذا العام.

وبهذه المناسبة أكد العجمي ان هذا التجمع السنوي يعد فرصة جيدة للقاء فريق العمل بالكامل والوقوف على أهم انجازات العام، مستعرضا في كلمته العديد من النقاط الهامة والملاحظات الدقيقة المتعلقة بالمشاريع الحيوية التي تتبناها دوائر المشاريع وتقنية المعلومات في مصافي الشركة وفي مشروع الوقود البيئي.

كما تحدث عن مشاريع الشركة في مجال الطاقة النظيفة وفي مقدمتها مشروع الشقايا للطاقة المتجددة، وكذلك مشاريع أمن المعلومات وما لها من اهمية كبرى ضمن استراتيجية الشركة.

وركز العجمي خلال اللقاء على أهداف الدوائر التابعة له خلال العام الجاري، متحدثا عن المشاريع المستقبلية.

وفي الختام كرم العجمي عددا من رؤساء الفرق والمهندسين على أدائهم المتميز خلال العام.

Departments under the responsibility of DCEO of Projects Abdullah Fahhad Al-Ajmi organized an annual town hall for this year. The DCEO said that such an annual meeting is a good opportunity to meet all team members and review the most important achievements fulfilled throughout the year.

He went over several topics and minute notes pertinent to the vital projects being carried out by the Departments of Projects and IT at the Company’s refineries and CFP.

Al-Ajmi talked also about the Company’s projects in the clean energy field headed by Al-Shagaya Renewable Energy Project as well as the IT security projects due to their utmost significance in the Company’s strategy. Objectives of the departments throughout the year were also discussed during the meeting.

A number of team leaders and engineers for their peculiar performance during this year were honored at the end of the meeting.

During the town hall of the departments under the responsibility of DCEO for Planning & Finance Khalid Al-Khayat, the achievements made in the fiscal year 2017-2018 were reviewed. Al-Khayat called on all employees to exert more efforts in order to implement the ambitious plans and the expectations towards the coming year.

Al-Khayat outlined the prominent features of the Planning and Finance Departments’ plans as part of the KNPC strategic plan for 2040.

Department Managers made extensive presentations on the achievements fulfilled by the teams in every department as part of the Company’s future expectations. At the end of the meeting, DCEO answered the employees’ questions and queries and expressed his hope for achieving more success.

قام وفد من مصفاة الدقم في سلطنة عمان، والتي تعد نموذجا للشراكة الكويتية العمانية، بزيارة الشركة للتعرف على تجربتها والاطلاع على آليات العمل المتبعة فيها.

والتقى الوفد في إطار برنامج الزيارة كلا من مدير دائرة الموارد البشرية عاهد الخريف، ومدير دائرة التدريب والتطوير الوظيفي دينا الخضر، اللذين أكدا أهمية هذه الزيارات الأخوية، والاستعداد التام لتبادل الخبرات، والاستفادة من التجارب المشتركة.

ويسعى الوفد العماني من خلال هذه الزيارة إلى التعرف على الأنظمة المتبعة في الشركة، والاطلاع على إجراءات القوى العاملة، والتوظيف، وإدارة المكافآت، وعلاقات العاملين، وخدمة الموارد البشرية، وتدريب المشاريع ومراكز التدريب.

A delegation from the Omani #Doqom_Refinsery , which is a good example of the Kuwaiti-Omani partnership, visited the Company to be acquainted with its experience and the work mechanism therein. As part of the visit program, the delegation visited both Human Resources Department Manager A’ahid Al-Kharif and Training & Career Development Manager Dina Al-Khodre who highlighted such a brotherly visit.

They also expressed their readiness for exchanging experiments and benefiting from the combined experiences.

Through this visit, the Omani delegation aims at getting familiar with the applicable systems at the Company, learning about the effective procedure of manpower, employment, incentives management, employees relations, human resources service, projects training and training centers.

زار وفد من شركة ميتسوبيشي اليابانية مصفاة ميناء الأحمدي، تمهيدا لشراء بعض المنتجات النفطية كالنافثا والخام والغاز المسال.

وقام الوفد بجولة ميدانية للاطلاع على خط سير الإنتاج، والتعرف على مواصفات بعض وحدات التصنيع، كما زار أرصفة التحميل، وتعرف على آلية العمل فيها.

استقبل الوفد مدير دائرة ضمان الجودة في المصفاة بالوكالة سعد الظفيري، فيما رافق الوفد في جولته الميدانية رئيس فريق العمليات بالمنطقة الثامنة علي عبدال.

A delegation from Japanese #Mitsubishi visited MAA in preparation for purchasing certain oil products such as naphtha, crude and liquefied natural gas (LNG).

The delegation toured the site to view the technical specifications of certain process units. They also called upon loading platforms and were acquainted with the work mechanism thereon.

The delegation visited Quality Assurance Department Manager at MAA Saad Al-Dhafiri as well whereas the Operations Team Leader at Area 8 Ali Abdaal accompanied them in their field visit.
