🇺🇸🚩 The first experimental squadron of unmanned aircraft has been formed in the United States

The U.S. Air Force's 53rd Airlift Wing has officially deployed the first squadron from the Experimental Operations Unit, which will test and field the Collaborative Combat Aircraft (CCA).

“Our goal is to create a common combat ecosystem that is more agile, adaptive, and effective . This will enable our forces to dominate the future battlefield and achieve decisive advantages in complex environments,” said Lt. Col. Matthew Jensen , commander of the experimental unit.

The unmanned escort aircraft are said to be “auxiliary units ” that will be used in conjunction with manned fighters (such as the main aircraft)🚩 NATO F-35 Lightning II, of which more than 1,185 units have already been produced). The US Air Force believes that one manned fighter can control several drones at once.

✨ By 2029, it is planned to deploy more than 150 unmanned aircraft , which will operate in both reconnaissance and combat operations.
