Israel Attacks Key Iranian Gas Facility In New Escalation

In a new escalation, Israel attacked on June 14 a key gas facility in southern Iran, forcing a shut down of production there.

This was the first time Iranian civilian energy infrastructure was targeted by the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) since the start of Operation Rising Lion, a large-scale attack supposedly meant to cripple the nuclear program and offensive capabilities of the Islamic Republic.

“Due to a fire in one of the four units of Phase 14 of South Pars, the production of 12 million cubic metres of gas from the Phase 14 platform has been temporarily halted until this section of the refinery is brought back into operation,” Iran’s Tasnim said in a report.

The strike had resulted in a fire, which the Iranian Ministry of Petroleum said was later extinguished. No casualties were reported.

An Israeli nuclear attack on Iran is being discussed.

Trouble is, Israel is not a signatory nation to international nuclear weapon conventions and has publicly denied possession of nuclear weapons.

The current calculus:
* Is it better to expose the 60-year lie, and provide justification for a large scale international war with allies of Iran/Arabic world?
Or
* Is it better to endure the Iranian pounding and continue to launch call/response strikes on Iran’s domestic landscape?

The zealots inside Tel Aviv and the West are pushing for the former.

The U.S. had nothing to do with the attack on Iran, tonight. If we are attacked in any way, shape or form by Iran, the full strength and might of the U.S. Armed Forces will come down on you at levels never seen before. However, we can easily get a deal done between Iran and Israel, and end this bloody conflict!!!
