Just wanted to give you all a very important update!
I had my final interview in Houston this Monday for a Flight Attendant position with United, and I've been awarded a job offer. 10,000 people applied for the position, and I'm part of the small percentage who got accepted for training at their headquarters in Houston for 6.5 weeks starting in December.
This is the career change I've been wanting for years, and I finally got accepted! It stills very surreal to me, but I'm honestly relieved to have a real job again.
Doing commissions full time has been very tough for me, and draining on my mental health since I'm barely getting by nowadays, but that's all going to change in the start of 2025.
This will allow me to finish my backlog without taking any more commissions or YCHs to pay my bills since my career with United will cover that, but that won't be until January 2025 when I start officially flying.
For now, I will continue to do my best to work on my owed work, and will have to make new YCHs to get me by until then.
Thank you guys so much for being patient with me, and supporting me when I needed it the most. I truly mean that. 🙏
2025 is going to be a better year for myself and my art. I will finally be able to enjoy creating again without pressure or stress. ❤️

I have another update --- and it's not good news.
Yesterday, my job offer was rescinded because they weren't able to get in contact with meabout my fingerprints needing clearance. My background check was completed weeks ago, so I thought I was in the clear. Turns out, my gmail flagged the emails as spam, which is why I never saw them. I am absolutely heartbroken, devastated, and shattered that my dream job was taken away from me in the blink of an eye.
I am eligible to re-apply May of next year when they take applications, but that still doesn't make the pain go away.
Unfortunately, I am back to doing commissions full time, and in today's climate, it's been horrible to me barely scrapping by, and I find no joy in it if I am to be perfectly honest. The job needs to be done, and I still have a backlog to finish, and the cycle of taking new commission/YCH work continues when I need financial stability to get me through the months.
The thought alone makes me depressed af.
Understand I am going through an emotionally challenging time right now, and I will do my best to get owed work done.

I will be working 12 hour days to finish as many commissions as I can. My Black Friday Sale income will help me get through the month. I will start the sale commissions in January 2025.
