What is leverage and how to use it ?
Leverage is the feature that enables your trading strategy by using money that you loan to your broker. The goal is to make more profits with it !
The different leverage types :
1:1 = 100%
1:50 = 2%
1:100 = 1%
1:200 = 0.5%
1:1000 = 0.1%
Our suggestion for you is to use a 1:500 leverage!
Remember, leverage comes with his risks aswell if you don't know how to use it!
You can overtrade, increase your chances of getting Margin Called (total loss) and the higher leverage you take, the higher are the risks.
Be sure to know what your risks are going to be like before going into any trade ! π

What is Bid, Ask and Spread
You should always know what these terms means before you start trading on any platform/broker.
Bid: The price you SELL
Ask: The price you BUY (higher than Bid)
Spread: Broker difference (charges)
Every pair has different spread set. Some brokers used fixed spreads and there are those that charge in the shape of floating trades or even, both.
How to calculate pips
Pips means Points in Percentages !
1 point = 10 pips
10 points = 100 pips
100 points = 1000 pips
A little example on Gold (XAUUSD):
Price 1946 to 1947 (1 point = 10 pips)
Price 1946 to 1956 (10 points = 100 pips)
Price 1946 to 2046 (100 points = 1000 pips)
How to calculate the profit/loss running
(Lot size entry X point = Total Profit / Loss)

Order Types
For usual trades, I will simply do an instant execution order where I instant buy or sell at the actual given price.
What about the other types of orders ?
π¦ Limits Orders
- Buy limit: Buy BELOW the current price
- Sell limit: Sell ABOVE the current price
π¦ Stops Orders
- Buy stop: Buy ABOVE the current price
- Sell stop: Sell BELOW the current price
π΄ Stop Loss
Limit the losses. If the price reaches the SL one, the trade will be closed in loss automatically.
π’ Take Profit
Set a target price and wait for it. If the price reaches your TP level, the trade will be closed in profit automatically.
I most likely go only for instant execution orders, but sometimes I can tell you to make some pending orders to fit my trading strategy !
You got it ?π

What is breakeven or put SL to entry point ? (BE)
Breakeven is a step to protect your capital or balance from experiencing any loss after making profit!
Basically, making bits of profit while minimizing any losses when trading.
You can set your trade to Breakeven (BE) by shifting your SL to entry price action.
It is advisable to place it after a 30 pips profit running or TP1.
You can see a sample from the image above. Left is for Breakeven (BE) and on the right it's once Stop Loss (SL) has been done.
How to set breakeven on MetaTrader ?
You should set breakeven every time I say to close but place SL to breakeven. This is to make sure that you don't lose your profit.
So, shift your SL to the trade entry price after I say it!
This is how we can grab the beautiful blue/green pips ! πΉ
