🇫🇷🔥🏛 National Assembly adopts the use of algorithmic video surveillance.

👉🏻 The implementation of algorithmic video surveillance will apply to "sporting, recreational or cultural events exposed to risks of acts of terrorism or serious attacks on the safety of individuals"

🔎 The law was passed with the Olympic Games of 2024 in mind and, according to Mr. Darmanin, only to "detect predetermined situations, such as starts of fire, bottlenecks, abandoned packages or crowd movements".
