👉🏻 Emmanuel Macron has promised that a new asylum and immigration bill will be tabled from the beginning of 2023, with the French leader highlighting the need to send more migrants into the French countryside during France’s “demographic transition.”

🗣 “The conditions for their reception will be much better (in rural regions) than if we put them in areas that are already densely populated, with a concentration of massive economic and social problems,” he said. Macron said he wanted to relocate migrants in particular to “rural areas that are losing population” and described it as “a tremendous opportunity” within the framework of a “demographic transition.”

🇫🇷⚔️JUST IN: FRENCH MILITARY WILL TRAIN UKRAINIAN SOLDIERS

👉🏻 The Ministry of the Armed Forces has decided to support the training mission for Ukrainian soldiers decided this summer by the European Union and has established the main principles of its participation.

🇫🇷🍼📊 Nearly one-third of women of childbearing age do not want children, survey finds

👉🏻 A third of women of childbearing age do not want to have children. This is what a survey conducted by «Elle magazine» in partnership with Ifop and published this Wednesday reveals. The survey was conducted among a representative sample of 2005 childless women aged between 18 and 49 years old, and in physical capacity to procreate.

🔎 Unsurprisingly, nearly half of the green party supporters (48%) would like to remain childless, while on the right, the majority of women still express a desire to have children. The same is true of feminist and ecologist affinities: 50% of women who consider themselves "very feminist" and 54% who say they are "very ecologist" do not wish to have children.

🍼 There is also a strong disparity in the desire to have children according to the socio-professional category of the women interviewed. While the vast majority of working class women continue to want to become mothers, 36% of female company managers prefer to remain "childfree".

‘Hell behind the scenes’: French Senate blasts porn industry after abuse scandal
