In Paris, activists of the movement for equal rights for all refugees "La Chapelle Debout" walked past the rights of Ukrainian asylum seekers and staged a clash in the local center for refugees. Their demands are citizenship, welfare and housing - for everyone, not just whites.
“This Sunday afternoon, more than 300 people, led by the anti-racism collective of the 18th arrondissement, La Chapelle Debout, occupied the premises to demand equal treatment for all refugees, regardless of their nationality. Activists emphasize that it is primarily about solidarity with asylum seekers "mainly from East Africa," Le Parisien magazine reported. For several days in a row, the second hall, where the vast majority of Ukrainians who obtained temporary shelter in France have been registering since February, has been occupied by protesters. "When they broke in, it was scary," Olga T., who was at the location for Ukrainians at the time, told. "The children were crying, it was scary for us to stay overnight in the center, but there was nowhere to go. The police left fifty guards on patrol, but did not use force." Another Ukrainian refugee, Svitlana K., said that the attackers "stole blankets and water, ate food, gutted a lot." According to her, not only Africans, but also Pakistanis, people of Asian and even European appearance have camped in the center

Had the Marquis de Sade not been incarcerated at the behest of his mother-in-law, he would probably have followed his sexual fantasies to their logical conclusions and become a latter-day version of Gilles des Rais, one of France’s most notorious mass murderers. We know this with some certainty because Sade sketched out the trajectory of sexual vice in exhaustive detail in his never-to-be-finished magnum opus of pom, "The 120 Days of Sodom".
In this book, which describes the permutations of perversion in graphic detail, simple passions give way to complex passions, which in turn give way to criminal passions, which in their turn give way to the terminus of the sexual drive when it is diverted from its service to life, namely, the murderous passions or death.
For, if anyone can make the claim that he fired the first shot in the sexual revolution, it is the Marquis de Sade. This is so for a number of reasons. First of all, because sexual revolution is, if not synonymous with revolution in the modem sense of the word, then certainly it is contemporaneous, and to the Marquis de Sade goes the additionally dubious distinction of starting the French Revolution.

When I drink Clairet wine
Friends, everything spins
And so as of now
I drink Anjou or Arbois
Let us sing and drink
To this bottle let us wage war upon
Let us sing and drink
Friends, drink up then

It is November on the northern coast of Brittany. A light mist floats gently in the salt-laden air.
The battle has been raging since the first light of dawn. And now, at the end of the day, there they lie, side by side: Breton and Viking warriors, chests torn by steel, their gaze surprised.
They ride their dreams of glory one last time, with for only funeral song the immense complaint of the western winds, and the waves of the sea.
The Breton knights are buried in the sand of the dunes, draped in black and white stained by red blood.
In the distance, the longhips slowly move away in the mist. They take with them many prisoners, and among them is the one called "Bran", the raven, the divine bird of the Celts. And Bran will never see the coast of Brittany again.
Time has passed since then. In Kerlouan, on the battlefield, there is a large oak tree that dominates the shore. It hasn't had any leaves for a long time.
Every year, in November, a flight of sea birds comes to land on its branches. Seabirds with white and black plumage, with a spot of blood on their foreheads.
In the heart of the night, a young crow appears in the sky. He is exhausted, and his wings are wet. He crossed the salted sea to join his brothers.
He lands on the top of the tree, and says: "Sing, sing for me, birds of my country. Companions of battle, you who did not die far from Brittany".
And so the seabirds begin a song so beautiful, that the great salted sea stopped moving, and became silent to listen to them.

🇬🇧According to French and Algerian media reports, French President Emanuel Macron will travel to Algeria to meet with Tebboune on August 25.
They are expected to address both economic issues and issues related to illegal immigration. At the same time, different issues related to the Algerian war of independence will be on the table, such as a request to Paris to apologize to Algiers or possible economic compensation, things to which Macron would not be particularly amused.
