Demonstrated experience in Providing training and capacity building in humanitarian programs, preferably with Gender Based Violence (GBV) ,Core Humanitarian standards (CHS ) ,Core sphere standards (CSS) and Cash and voucher assistance (CVA)
Competence:-
- A sound understanding and experience in contextualizing the training to wards to the humanitarian response in the Horn of Africa, especially Ethiopia
- Expertise in one or more of the relevant technical areas (FSL, WASH, MPC, Health) for this response
- A sound knowledge of Humanitarian Principles; the Code of Conduct for the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement and NGOs in Disaster Relief; the Core Humanitarian Standard; and Sphere Minimum Standard in Humanitarian Response, as well as an appreciation of key challenges and constraints to their application in the relevant context
- Demonstrated analytical, communication and report-writing skills on the capacity building /consultancy training
- A good understanding of DRA Core standard Policy and funding
- Fluent written and spoken English
