Job Description
The Ethiopia Data Use Partnership (DUP) is a collaborative endeavor of the Ethiopian Federal Ministry of Health (FMOH) to strengthen the country’s health information system. It is a “project”
with an aim to improve the collection and use of high-quality routine information in the health sector in Ethiopia; contributing to improved quality, efficiency and availability of primary health and
nutrition services at all levels. DUP is also an “engagement platform” where the FMOH; the JSI-led consortium of partner organizations, including Regenstrief Institute, University of Gonder,
and Gobee Group; and other stakeholders, including other JSI projects in Ethiopia, interact regularly to help improve the quality and use of health data in Ethiopia.
The intern will be responsible to assist the HR Administrator on feeding and processing the application data forms received from different universities for the internship program.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
. feed raw collected application data into Excel
. Support the HR Administrator on processing the application data
. Maintain and file the hard copies properly
. Communicate applicants for clarification on the application forms
. Support the trainers in facilitating the logistics needed for the training
. Assist HR Administrator minor office administration tasks (e.g. copy, scan, sending documents, etc…)
. Any other related tasks
💠Job Requirements
. University Degree in Human Resources Management, Management, Business Administration, Information systems or related field of study
. Fresh graduates
. Very high train-ability and learning interest
. Very strong interest to grow professionally
. High communication and language ability
. Strong organizational skills
. Computer literate especially word and excel.
. Excellent in English and Amharic both speaking & writing.
. Ability to work under pressure.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop multi-tier web applications for customers and internal users using Visual Studio.
• Enhance and support existing products
• Design, develop, maintain and enhance systems based on business requirements, using approved technologies and coding standards.
• Communicate with business analysts to gather accurate specifications for new enhancements and applications. Translate requirements into functional code.
• Collaborate with team members on projects.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• 1-2 years software development experience.
• Understanding of object-oriented design, client-server architecture and relational database design.
• Knowledge of. NET Framework and ability to work with C#, ASP. NET, MVC and entity framework
• Experience using T-SQL with the ability to write SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Knowledge of client-side technologies such as JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5 and CSS preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio and SQL Server Management Studio.
• Experience using git version control a plus.
• Ability to produce technical documents like software requirements and design documents

• Ability to work under stressful deadline
• Ability to manage time and complete tasks on time with great quality
